## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does it need additional sealant?**
A: It comes with a foam spacer that sits between the socket and the van panel, how water proof this is I don’t know. I used some sealant just for added protection, not worth getting water ingress in to where the wires are or rusting out the inside of the panel. Hope this helps

**Q: Will this fit a 2006 T5 transporter campervan**
A: To fit original hole I'm not sure but to cut and fit yes no priblem

**Q: Does this pit power in to the van or take power out?**
A: It puts power in. 
This socket is the mains hook up socket, allowing you to connect your vehicle/caravan to 240volt mains.

**Q: What screws does this need? Cant just be normal pointed screws can it?**
A: I used metal self-tapping screws along with a good adhesive/sealant like Sikaflex.
