I’m using it to attach a camera to a tripod and video a weekly lecture which includes demonstrations and slides projected on a screen. I’m not using it for anything professional and so can’t speak to how it might work in that respect, but it’s perfect for my needs.

A: Yeap. I bought it for my cannon and even if I'm using the battery grip it does work.

**Q: Does the mounting plate screw have a D-ring for screwing on without a flat-head tool? Also,can the base clamp accommodate a 40mm-wide Arca type plate?**
A: Yes, the mounting plate screw has a D-ring for screwing, and it can accommodate Arca Swiss Type plate which is around 38.5mm

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy Adjustment and Snug Tightening

Used as a replacement for a broken tripod head. It came with a small to larger thread which was needed to attach it to the existing tripod. An inexpensive but adequate replacement for a standard DSLR weight. Easy adjustment and snug tightening.
