Dropper Seatpost Cable Kit

I’m really satisfied with the Jagwire Pro Dropper Cable Kit. Installation was straightforward and the kit came with everything needed — cable, flexible housing, end caps, and shrink‑tube shims. The 0.8 mm “Pro Polished” stainless steel inner cable feels smoother and more flexible than a standard shift cable, which makes lever actuation feel lighter and easier. The 3.0 mm FLEX‑SL housing bends nicely and routes smoothly even with tight internal frame guides. Since installing it on my bike, the dropper post deploys and retracts cleanly and reliably — no hitches or extra friction. For anyone running a cable‑actuated dropper post, this kit delivers a noticeable upgrade in smoothness and consistency.

does the job, but if you want cable clamp, you have to make sure it could get through the hole. the diameter of this cable housing is 4mm.

Good basic cable kit. I did not notice any reduced friction or anything special. On my XL e-bike dropper post, I only needed 62" and the cable was closer to 79". Cutting is easy with a Dremel cutoff wheel. The ferrules were plastic, which is fine, but I prefer metal ones.

I think the quality is good, I have not complaints.

Exactly what I needed to replace my dropper cable on my Mt Bike. It worked perfectly for my Tellis Dropper post.

I was excited to get this hose installed on my bike for a decent price but when it arrived, I discovered it’s going to work for what I need however it’s not as robust or yes, high quality as I was expecting. It seems to be un reinforced, so it might not be up to the task of lasting more seasons than one. Time will tell. But it gets the job done.

Smooth action worth the money. Arrived in mint condition. For first time installer- Install takes some thought. Seat post height must be known before making cuts. Critical that the “housing” cable is set snug into seat and trigger simultaneously to work properly. Which means figuring everything out at first with housing alone. Cutting housing to length, then inserting cable into housing, then inserting them both into seat post, then pressing post into pre determined height, which will shove cable and housing back to their pre determined length at handlebar (with plenty of slack for turning) then installing trigger last based on your pre determined cable lengths. I used a ROTOZIP cutting wheel to make a clean cut on housing. (SNIPS WILL CRUSH HOUSING AND MAKE IT UNUSABLE) Regular snips can however be used for the steel cable cutting.

Works perfect with my PNW Coast Dropper post. PNW includes the swivel adapter this cable fits in.

My Brand-X Ascend dropper post didn't come with enough cable and housing to route through the frame. Ordered the jagwire kit based on the reviews and it didn't disappoint. The housing is very strong and cable itself very slick. I was concerned the run would be took long to operate well but it works like it came on the bike!
