PowerStop Z36 Truck & Tow Brake Pad & Rotor Kit Front K137-36

5 STARS: I recently installed the PowerStop Front Brake Kit (K137-36) on my 2020 Toyota Tacoma, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. The kit includes the carbon fiber ceramic brake pads and the drilled & slotted rotors – everything you need for a professional-level upgrade. The braking power is noticeably better than my previous OEM brakes. Stopped with more confidence, shorter stopping distances, and zero fade even when towing or coming down mountain grades here in Utah. The pedal feel is firm and responsive right from the start. I replaced my original brakes at right around 60,000 miles. There was still plenty of pad life left (probably another 5-10k miles), but I was already doing a full brake fluid flush, so I decided to go all-in with this PowerStop kit. Installation was straightforward for a DIY’er — the rotors and pads fit perfectly with no issues. Important note: Make sure you follow the break-in process exactly as instructed (they include clear steps). It makes a big difference in how well the pads bed to the rotors and how quiet/long-lasting they perform. Highly recommend this kit if you want stronger, cooler-running brakes that look great too. Excellent kit! Less than an hour to install it. The stopping power was insane. I immediately could tell the difference and was blown away. I honestly bought these for pure aesthetics and surprisingly (or not) got the best brakes I have ever had.

I have waited to put about 10,000 miles on these brakes before I left a review. All I can say is that these brakes are much better than stock Tacoma brakes. Kit was super easy to install and fit perfectly, comes with everything you need. I do some towing and have noticed a greater stopping performance. So far the brakes haven’t warped and I have got them really hot. The drill and slotted rotors perform well but also look cool! So far I haven’t heard any brake noise and they seem to be wearing slowly. This is the kit to buy, I cannot believe how cheap it was. Super happy with my purchase!

Easy swap. Look good once on

Well it's been 2 yrs since I purchased this rotor and brake set. Everything still works great. Disappointed that the shiny coating doesn't last, the rotors still rust like other rotors. Thought they would keep that awesome look, but nope rust around the edges. Oh well I guess they're just rotors!

Better than oem

I installed this on my 2013 Tacoma. Everything fit excellent and I had zero trouble. The kit came with all of the hardware needed, including the pad springs. Once I bedded them in, they are smooth and do not squeal. Great stopping power!

Awesome stock replacement on my 2018 Tacoma. I tow and haul quite often and so I figured I’d give these a shot. They work well, I don’t know if they are better than factory but for the price I was willing to give them a try. Time will tell if I get 150,000km’s out of these like my factory. Installation was also fairly easy and didn’t take very long at all.

These brakes are working better than OEM just do a proper break in. They bite strong and they don’t fade under long breaking. The component are very good quality and it comes with all the replacement pins and clips. You will not be disappointed! 2010 FJ Cruiser owner
