The effect is great but they break too easily

I ordered a few magic tricks for my grandson - some of them were just too complicated to figure out, but this one is his favorite. He plays with it all the time

This is SO much fun- and great for ALL ages. I was not sure what to get my friend's son for Christmas, he is in third grade and much older then my kids. When he opened this he kinda looked at it and didn't seem excited- he really had no idea what it was. Later in the evening he opened it up and it was the center of the rest of the night. Everyone was taking turns playing with it- even the grown dads and my four year old. What started as a "random gift" ended up being the show stopper of the evening. This is definitely going into rotation for birthday presents and really is flexible for all ages (no pun intended!). Took one star off as it is a little tricky to get the hang of- but I think if it was easier the relaxed rope would not look as real. Great gift- will buy again!

Got this as a gift and my nephew really likes it it. It’s pretty cool to see in action too. It even came with an extra complimentary magic card trick from the seller. Nice touches like that will definitely bring me back as a repeat customer.

This magic rope worked great and was perfect….for about 10 minutes! My kids and I saw this magic rope at a magic show and loved it, so I immediately went on Amazon to purchase one. After reading reviews on multiple magic ropes, this product had the best reviews by far. The rope worked great at first and the magic trick was very easy to do, which made it even more disappointing when it quickly fell apart. Despite me being VERY careful with it, the rope started to fall apart within 5-10 minutes of using it. Inside of the rope are tons of little green plastic pieces, these little pieces started coming out of the rope. Even with just one piece coming out, the rope wasn’t able to perform like it was supposed to. As I was trying to squeeze the little plastic piece back in, ANOTHER piece came out at the other end of the rope. & very quickly after that a THIRD piece came out. I don’t understand how these little pieces were able to come out so easily, however, they were impossible to get back into the rope. My dad and I both tried getting the pieces back into the rope and we were both unable to. & now with so many pieces falling out of the rope, the rope is COMPLETELY useless which left my kids super disappointed. I definitely do not recommend buying this.

I was simple to learn and manipulate. I tried to show it to my grandson and put it in my pocket but the rope was not bendable enough to fit. I tried to stuff it in more and it broke. I could still work it but my grandson made the tear worse. by trying to stretch it.

I have fun using this to take out my giant invisible rabbit harvey on a walk in the grocery store. Setup rope prior to use. I ask the clerk if its okay if i let him run around off the leash and they usually giggle and say sure. Then "unclip" harvey and roll up rope holding it in hand flip my hands out and tell harvey to run around. They see the "leash" is no longer pulled tight and are amazed and shocked.

I have performed magic for the Calgary Children's Hospital since 2006, and when I needed a new 'rope trick', I ordered one from Magic Makers. The rope is much shorter than my old one, and when made taut, four inches of the one side flips up instead of laying flat. It doesn't seem to be a problem of the shipper, but rather of the maker. Now I have to order another one, but I will go somewhere else so I don't have this same problem again.

Excellent trick. My 6 year old and 4 year old grandsons mastered this trick in no time!
