Very good laptop
Very good gaming laptop! It runs games so smoothly with very little to no lag! The screen is high quality and 4k. I highly recommend!

So far so good
I used to be a avid ASUS buyer when it came to computer parts, I've known of MSI for awhile because of their GPU and Mobo among other parts but wasn't too sure about their Computers. I decided to take a chance after swearing off ASUS due to a new laptop of theirs blowing up after just 13 months of use. I will not be buying any other brand besides MSI from now on, they are far superior in Gaming than any other company. This laptop is thin and very lightweight but don't let that fool you, it's very well made and powerful. I have had this laptop for about 7 months now and have had no issues with it so far One thing I really enjoy about it is the extended warranty you get just for registering your laptop.

Good "Budget" gaming laptop
I really love anything related to PCs and Gaming. I'm not a Linus Tech Tip expert but I do understand a little bit. I got the core i5 with the 1650 gpu. And I can honestly say if you don't care about running 4k with ultra graphics on games like Red Dead 2 then this is your laptop. Runs games smoothly (with a bit of tweaking of the graphics) at 1080p 60fps (which the monitor is 1080p). Temps so far have been ok but you do feel the heat with about 2 hours of game time (fans are usually quiet but will sound like a jet engine after a while). I will admit the battery life sucks. Even if I'm just doing some "light activities" (writing short stories and watching YouTube in the background) that battery just drains and no matter what I put the settings to make it slower it just drains quicker, also gaming on battery you can forget it! You get an hour at most with the battery. Keep it plugged in if you are gaming. Also if you're a gamer think about upgrading the storage. I had to install about 2tb of extra storage cause I only had 74 gigs (out of 250 or something..) of storage on the small ssd you get included. So either think about getting a bigger m.2 or... coolest thing about this is you can add a regular laptop mechanical hard drive or a regular ssd. (I'm too poor after this purchase so I used a mechanical). I used a YouTube video to show me how to install. Kinda easy but I believe (if you are in the USA) it voids your warranty. So beware. All in all a good budget laptop

Go to graphics
I bought this gaming computer for my son's birthday. The graphics are incredible and what I also like is that he's able to use it for schoolwork. The only thing I do recommend is to buy a separate hard drive to download more games. But other than that it's a great!

Great, Till it's Not...
This laptop was great. Had an old desktop (AMD FX8350/Asus ROG Mobo/Geforce 970) that played games decent enough. When covid happened, my son needed a computer to do online classes. I gave him mine and bought this (with a 512gb hard drive). It worked great until about a month ago. Walked away, came back and dark blue screen. Restarted, Windows wouldn't start. Couldn't restore, couldn't reinstall with Windows USB. Its on its way back to MSI right now under the 1 year warranty. Lost all my docs/pictures after transferring everything from my desktop over to new laptop, and not backing it all up. I mean... 5 months, who would think it would die so fast? Not sure if it was a hard drive failure, Windows Failure, or what, but it died.

Meh…
I play sims on it and no problem. Battery life sucks. I tried to do gta and it keeps crashing and won’t let me play. Don’t buy a hard disk to play any games, only plays digital games
