I am not the neatest nail polisher and needed something to protect my finger skin around the nail when applying the polish for a neater application. I saw this item and was impressed with the reviews so decided to give it a try. It is very affordable and easy to remove once I have finished the final application. This feels like a rubber and goes on white but dries clear, so you know when it's ready to apply the polish (it dries quickly so make sure you keep the bottle closed as much as possible). It is very tacky and sticky and easy to apply. The instructions state to apply thickly but I didn't need to use that much for the task. It seems to be of good quality and very durable. Overall, I highly recommend. It saved me so much time from start to finish and am glad I no longer will be faced with the chore of trying to get any excess polish off my skin without ruining my polish. The seller was great as well with competitive pricing, quality merchandise, secure packaging, and prompt delivery.

This Modelones liquid latex works great for protecting skin during nail art and polish application. It applies smoothly, dries quickly, and peels off easily without leaving residue behind.

This works really well. I got it to keep the polish off my nails because I use gel. I only gave it four stars because the smell is awful. I don't know how to describe it but it is really bad. It is really easy aplication and is not sticky. Dries really quickly too.

I was looking forward to trying this, but when I opened it the brush was stuck, and when I yanked it out, I realized the entire bottle of latex had solidified into one chunk. Not sure how this happened since the box was unopened/wrapped and it didn’t appear tampered with so I suspect a manufacturing issue.

I'm new to gel polish and still suck at keeping it off of my cuticles, so I had high hopes that this stuff would reduce the amount of time I spend cleaning that excess polish off. Unfortunately, if anything it only increases it. The brush size is so wide that it's difficult to avoid getting the latex on my nails when applying and it takes forever to get it right. Now instead of just having to remove excess gel from around my cuticles and smooth the edges, I also have to spend 5 minutes applying liquid latex without getting it everywhere. Plus, this stuff dries super fast and is clear when it's dry and if I miss any that ended up on the nail itself, it gets stuck underneath the edge of the gel which messes up the edge when I peel it off. I guess the moral of the story is that there's no shortcut for taking time and proper care when applying your nail polish. (Also, I really suck at nail polish.) I will say that there's something oddly satisfying about peeling this stuff off after it dries, though.

A bit messy so I recommend waiting for the polish to dry or it will get stuck in the polish but it works! My nails ended up looking so clean after

Love this product. I use gel polish. As you know, it's very important to keep both the base coat, gel polish and topcoat from bleeding over onto the skin and cracks around the actual nail bed. I used this product for the first time recently and learned that you must apply it with the same care that you do when actually polishing your nails. Cover only the area you want to protect! Also, I applied it liberally to the skin around the fingertip. This allows you to grab onto the latex with a snipper to lift it and pull it off of the finger when you are finished. Practice makes perfect. But for a first try I am very pleased with this product.

Not recommended for gel only reg nail polish it's hard to get em out almost messed up my nails that I repainted it
