This eliminates the small but constant battery drain that occurs with less expensive voltage reducers. It takes some more installation time to locate the switched B+ battery line to connect to the control wire. Check the coil terminals at the main solenoid (contactor) or the common terminal at the forward-reverse switch for a voltage change when the key switch is activated. The only thing that could be improved is the plastic mounting flange on the bottom of the Pro Chaser. The hold-down holes are too close to the body, making it difficult to use a wrench or socket on the mounting bolts.

I recently converted my golf cart to LiFePO4 power and wanted to put a beefier reducer on to add some additional accessories. This was simple to wire and can be controlled by the ignition, so it fit the bill. A few minutes of wiring and mounting and it was in. Some knowledge is required to determine which is the switched wire off the ignition, but if you are capable of that this is a good option for you.
