Storm iM2050 Case With Foam (Yellow)

The build quality on this case is excellent—feels extremely solid and purpose-built for protecting sensitive gear. The shell is tough and gives real confidence against impact, and the foam insert makes it easy to customize a secure fit for equipment. Latches feel strong and secure, and everything seals tightly for dust and moisture protection. It’s a bit heavy for everyday carrying, but that’s expected given how durable it is. I actually bought this for myself as an early Christmas present. My only concern was that there were a couple of reviews saying that their cases didn't come with foam, which would make it more expensive to have to purchase that separately. However, mine did include the foam, so they seem to have fixed the problem if there was one at some point with that. It appears to be sturdy and very well made; I expect it will be more than sufficient for my purposes. I wanted a good, solid super rugged case that was suitable for air travel and all weather types and this definitely fits the bill. The latches weren't something I was used to as I have never owned a Pelican case before, so it was a bit odd to press the button while pulling the latch, but it ended up being easier to open than I suspected while also giving me confidence that it won't be easily jostled open by accident. I actually bought the storm variety Pelican case over the Pelican 1200 that I was also considering after reading reviews that mentioned that these latches were a bit better in that respect. I was really impressed with the quality of this case and I think this is a very good investment. Even though it might seem a bit pricy for just being a case, it appears to be worth every penny and I expect to get many good years of use out of it. I also love that it is made in the USA and I wish more companies would take as much pride in their work to make quality products like this rather than things that fall apart and constantly have to be repurchased. If I ever need another case like this, I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one just like it and I would highly recommend it to others.

Wonderful little case. I spent a fair about of money on an audio recording device that is intended to be used for interviews and needed a case that would keep things safe for transport. This is exactly what I needed. It’s incredibly sturdy with fantastic locks on the sides. The ability to lock with a key or combo lock on the top corners. It’s built like a titanium brick. Not super heavy weight but incredibly solid. Have not tested its water resistance but I trust it lives up to the promises it makes. Pelican cases are truly worth the money if you’re wanting to protect something that you’d rather not leave to chance. Highly recommend.

Love Pelican cases! They help to alleviate some of the anxiety over the security of my expensive electronics. For example, provides a place for everything I carry, so that while I am working I can see what's out of the case at a glance. (Thanks to the foam cut-outs.) Keeps everything all snug, dust and moisture free. Can be easily and securely cable-locked to the steering wheel of my automobile protecting my equipment and vehicle from theft when I'm out and about.

I was in need of a tough camera case that I could trust to be watertight for kayaking. The Pelican Storm iM2050 case worked out perfectly for my needs. Things that comfortably fit: 1. Sony a6500 body with any lens attached up to the E 18–200 mm F3.5-6.3 OSS, which is a fairly large lens. 2. An additional lens if I need a good prime for landscape opportunities. 3. Two additional batteries for extended outings. 4. Extra memory cards. 5. The camera battery charger fits inside of the 18-200 lens hood, which also fits (see attached images). I don't really need the charger while kayaking, but it's nice that it also fits in this case if I want to take a small camera kit with me on a quick trip. Overall, this case works perfect for my application. It actually stores even more than I thought it would, plus the fit and finish is excellent which is typical of all Pelican cases. I especially like the press-and-pull latches so there's no way of unintentionally opening the case. I also really like the pick-and-pluck foam that it comes with. The pick-and-pluck foam made it extremely easy to customize the case to my specific gear, which only took about 10 minutes. Every thing has a nice snug fit, and nothing shifts around at all as I move the case around. I feel like I could drop the case without any need to fear damaging the equipment stored inside. It's a very secure and watertight case for sensitive camera gear and I'm glad I purchased it. These is a great case for almost any matter you, especially for under an airplane seat. Handle does not flop and includes tight rubber grip.

We bought one for my wife’s Nikon Z50 with lens attached to protect her camera when kayaking. The case is perfect for protecting a smaller mirror less camera when out in the water.

Excelente producto, es mi marca favorita. Buen material, resistente, aguanta arañazos, polvo, golpes y caídas, resistente al agua y vale lo que se paga. En mi casi me quedo Justo hubiera adquirido el modelo IM20100 pero siempre hay uso de todo. Lo recomiendo mucho.

Got it close to a year ago, I don't use it too often but its very comfortable for what i need from it. Didn't put it much to a test but I am happy with my purchase (Bought it when it was priced very well).

Top of the line and priced that way. Kept 6 BR ammo in it all winter and spring . Zero color change to the brass and copper. Perfectly dry.
