ENO fruit salt-orange flavour

All I can say is I love this product.

can't live without my ENO when I overindulge in eaing or eat heavy stuff :-)

This "fruit salt" was a longtime standard in the UK and was recently discontinued there. It's still sold in India (because they use it for leavening flatbreads of various sorts.) I use it to reduce stomach acid because I can't tolerate the purple-style pills. You mix a teaspoon in a glass of water and it fizzes up into a flavorful drink. I don't like the orange very well and am happier with a lemon variety from an Italian company. The advantage of Eno over the Italian version of the also-discontinued Brioschi is that it dissolves very quickly and the jar is small. It's a bit high in sodium but over all, a glass after dinner and perhaps a small one before bed seem to reduce acid stomach.

Very effective..it works fine for me for heart burn..

I used to use Andrews salts but you cant get then any more. This is the closest to it and works very well. Its more expensive. My favorite is the orange flavour.
