Gardena Watering Control Master: Automatic and time-saving watering, 6 schedules, LCD display, Water Now function, Safe-Stop (1892-20)

Excellent timer there works with my Gardina 6-way automatic water distributor. Fairly easy to use; takes a bit of getting used to, but you get used to it and does a great job. Good price.

This was a replacement unit for my Gardena micro drip system, the old one failed, this one works just as the previous unit

I thought this product was going to be perfect for what I needed. Paired with the 6-point water distributor I could water all zones of my garden automatically and never have to worry about my beds drying up again. Not quite! Here are the pros and cons. Pros: With one exception (see cons) the unit really feels like a quality device Waters up to 6 zones Water on demand button (including an independent timer for this) Programmable rain break function Looks smart Cons: Main one... yes you can programme 6 zones but these are all once per day :( I really wanted something where I could water a bit in the morning and a bit in the evening but I have to choose now just once a day. Worried about over-watering as a result and may have to still get out there with a hose pipe as a result. The unit feels a little loose in place - it may be how I have fitted it but can't seem to get it any tighter. Not sure of battery life. The 9V battery is now on one bar and has only been in 2 months. Also need to consider exposure to frost in the winter, but I do intend on storing most of my irrigation system for the winter.

Bought june 21, battery fitted, ran out by mid july leading to non-watered greenhouse. Will try once more but if as bad it will have to go back. By June 23 and a period of no use (but battery fine now must use Hi end Duracell or similar), the feature of resetting itself randomly had taken over. More importantly it became impossible to make the 'water now' function operate. Emails to the company re this remain unanswered. Useless without this function. Meantime the price has doubled. I do NOT recommend this unit. I have tried so many different water timers now and am utterly exhausted in my quest ro find one that is easily programmed and works reliably. Why is this so damn hard?

Leak very badly from all connections after less than 1 year use. Wrote to customer service for replace or refund. Poor quality. Won't recommend.

Mooi degelijk product. Hoop wel dat hij volledig waterdicht is. Achterbehuizing heb ik mijn twijfels over,. Maar we gaan het zien. Voor als nog een fijn product

It leaks out of the connection to the faucet, should have done some research ahead of time. Bought the water distributor as well, it also leaks.
