Also known as Egyptian or Nana mint. Native to the Mediterranean countries and hugely popular on the Continent. Spearmint has a more gentle soothing taste and smell than peppermint. Very refreshing, it aids digestion, and is gentle enough to be given to babies to ease colic. Can also be taken to ease morning sickness, or just for its pleasant flavour. Great served hot or cold over ice. Review: It's so spearminty!!!!! - This is lovely and more-ish - just the job when you are thirsty. Not tried it cold yet but plan to do so. Review: Too finely ground, impossible to have a leaf free drink - The taste itself is nice but the leaves are too finely ground, its almost like powder. I have put it in a filtered teapot and then used a strainer into another filtered teapot,used another strainer into a cup and I still got a mouth full of powder. Shame

Really good tea!
Super delish! A nice, refreshing spearmint tea for us pepperminty types. It does not disappoint as it packs a flavour punch.

The real thing
Actually this is real pure spearmint with no black or green tea as many other products. Smells like chewing gum, tastes better.
