I live in a rural area and getting any of the trades to show up, electricians included, is nearly impossible.I used this to put several holes in my generator transfer switch. 2" is the max size with a 2.5" bit. These bite are very expensive indvidually. This set paid for itself already. Cuts through panels with no issues. These would probably last 50+ cuts through regular panel steel no problem.
