Hi, I'm wondering if 60" is the measurement of the dome? If so what does it measure when opened outside to outside?

The measurement from the outer edge to the opposite outer edge underneath the umbrella while open - in other words: the area covered from the rain, is 52". The measurement from the edge to over the top of the dome to the opposite edge is 60", though why someone would care about that measurement seems pointless.
