Both sockets in the package were defective
Both sockets were defective. One immediately and obviously had a poor connection and had to be replaced with a socket purchased at Auto Zone. The other would fail after a few hours of driving causing that headlight to go out and had to be replaced at a later date again with a socket purchased at a local auto parts store.
