I have owned a total of 3 BT Lithium (LiFePO4) batteries, 3 BT battery maintainers, a BT sae to usb adaptor, a sae voltage tester and a few various BT accessories cables. On the April 18th 2022 I purchased a 480 cca BT Lithium (LiFePO4) battery on Amazon and the noted before receiving the battery that there was a coupon for 15% off. I reached out to the distributing agent, BT sales and BT returns/warranty to see if I could get a $30 credit and no one could help me except to tell me contact Amazon and/or just passed me to someone else until I realized I was getting nowhere. I then contacted Amazon for help and they reached out to Battery Tender on my behalf. I figured I should write my review before I ultimately got my answer on the credit and risk further disappointment. I received the battery on April 20th as expected and it was well packed and in good condition physically. I noted that the date code (07M18) on the box and battery indicated that the battery was already almost 4 years old. (I have seen that there are others that reported they received similar aged batteries). Even though these batteries are supposed to have a longer life than their lead acid counterparts, I do not believe that anyone would want to buy a 4 year old $200 motorcycle battery. That certainly was not my intention. My experiences over the past week made me look at the three year warranty and again disappointment set in. Most premium batteries have a full replace guarantee in excess of the basic 1 year ....not these batteries. I guess they don't have great expectations when it comes to their batteries on their dime. You may wonder why I don't just return the battery and be done with it. Well that will set me back another $20 ($10 initially and another $10 to return it) in S&H and I also run the risk some other wessal tactics that Battery Tender might enlist. No, I have totally lost trust after my experience trying to seek an answer from them and after reading some of the other reviews that have reported far worse experiences.
