This moist heating pad works beyond expectation. I’ve used it for about half a year and I must say I’m pleasantly pleased by the continuous moist heat it provides unfailingly. The weight is just right to keep it the pad in place and let the heat seep in. I use it to calm my herniated disc cervical pain, back pain and sometimes sore sheen muscles. With this big size, I wonder whether a seam down across the middle could prevent the beads moving in one direction. I find this clay bead option neutral and much better than the grain options in terms of smell with the grains options having an odour (eg lavender) that eventually becomes unpleasant over time. I also find this much better that the heating clay pads many physiotherapists tend to have and which don’t really make adequate contact with the body. I was convinced enough to willingly ship this twice from the US to germany which costed much. It would be nice to have it available on Amazon.de at an affordable cost.

Don't often give five stars but this product snd company destve it. Very detailed instructions coupled with a genuine thank you note. Followed the instructions and the pad worked exactly as expected. Well made on the somewhat heavy side which some people would appreciate.

I only purchased a new one after 3yr because I was very short on time and tried to do it for several minutes at once. I would not advise that because the ceramic bits get too hot and burn tiny holes and ruins them. This feels so great when it's piping hot. I had surgery for a herniated disc and spinal stenosis. It brings significant relief even if only briefly. It is most effective with heat. I don't find it stays cold long enough. Can sometimes smell like burning. But I do heat it for 4-5 minutes. Just usually in short bursts instead of all at once.

This weighted heating pad does a nice job, it's much better than a regular heating pad. I use this when I have a sore shoulder from working out, and it does a great job. The weighting makes it stay in place and puts more heat on the shoulder, and the heat is moist and feels better than a regular heating pad. The clay beads can be a little challenging to disperse evenly, but otherwise I think this is a very good product.

I ordered this pad because I have chronic shoulder and neck pain from an injury from long ago and I use both heat and ice packs depending on how I'm feeling that day. I found this and thought it was cool that I could use it for both hot and cold. I wanted something that had weight to it, not just a regular heating pad. When it came I was really surprised by the weight. It feels substantial...not like a plastic heating pad. I also liked that I didn't have to plug it in. It was bigger than expected so I had to fold it over twice to fit it in the microwave so my turntable would turn. The first try I heated it too long so I had to wait a minute to take it out. Next time I'll just heat it in 1 min intervals. It really does steam and there was some moisture but it was really nice. The heat was even all the way through and there weren't any hot spots. The pad is large enough to cover my whole back which is nice, and it stayed warm for about 15 minutes before it started to cool down. I also wanted to try it cool because I use ice pack quite a bit. Left in my freezer overnight in a plastic bag as the instructions. It wasn't as cold as I expected it to be...like my ice packs are, but it turns out I really liked that. Because it wasn't frozen like an ice pack and the material is soft I didn't even need to lay a towel across my skin. I just draped it over my shoulders. It's really hard to describe the sensation, it was cool...refreshing and relaxing. The best I can describe how it feels when you are hot and take a shower that is not cold...but cool. I really enjoyed it! It folds good so I could drape it across my neck and shoulders and because it has weight too it, it didn't slip off. When I use my gel or traditional ice packs, I have to use something to hold them on or lay against something. With this pad, I can just sit up and it stays around my neck and shoulders. Really glad I found this.

I just bought a new heating pad -- the same one I bought in 2021! I'm not exaggerating to say that the original had been heated and reheated several thousand times. I have cervical and low back issues and it has been a lifesaver. I've just popped the new one in the microwave for the first time and am enjoying the warmth already. Yesterday, we realized the old one had sprung a leak. and I was worried that we wouldn't find the same one available. This morning I was excited when I found that the same one was still available. I ordered it around 8 am and it was here by this evening. I'd give them ten stars if I could for customer service and. an outstanding product.

After the first year of use, I thought this pad was wonderful: large, weighted, moist heat. Now, after two years, I no longer enjoy it. It does not heat up as well. The heat now dissipates within 10 minutes; used to last at least 20. I am tired of the pad falling out of the scratchy cover. I am tired of folding it and shoving into the microwave, lifting the heavy pad out again. But most importantly, the smell if bothersome. And whenever I use it, it sets off my nearby air purifier - which worries me. What am I breathing in? Time to retire it. Going back to an electric pad.

Exactly what I needed for my therapy. It heats up uniformly in the microwave, it stays warm, I found the exact time to have it meet my heat tolerance, heavy duty, soft, easy to handle. And my cat loves to sit on it when I'm done. What can I say, it's a winner!

Finally I got heavy enough product which doesn’t need some one to press on it… wonderful

It is great for my neck and problems, and was a life-saver when I had covid (for back pains). I need a bigger version of this which doesn't exist, so I will order at least one more.. it is not cheap but the health benefits make it worth it.. I would love to have 10 of these all heated up. just like a hot sand bath I guess. but it is a shame that it last about 10min and then you need to reheat it...
