No more Holes in my Soles!
I've been wearing Crocs as my summer sandals for years now because they are just so comfortable! However due to all the walking I do, Crocs never seem to last me. I live in a big city so I am almost always walking on rough surfaces like concrete and asphalt. The classic Crocs I've warn would last me only one whole summer (if i'm lucky.) Sometimes I would end up going through 2 pairs of classic Crocs. The thing is the soft sole rubs away over time. One day i would start walking and it would start feeling painful because there would be a hole under the sole. So after going through 3 pairs of Crocs over the past 2 years, I found these babies on Amazon. All I can say is I am very impressed. The soles are much thicker and can withstand more rough surfaces unlike the standard Crocs, and still JUST as comfortable as any Crocs. The back band has velcro so you can adjust how tight or how loose you want it unless you simply want to remove the back band. I love these new Crocs and i'm so glad I found these! Finally no more holes under my soles. Well worth every penny.

Would Be Outstanding If They Had a Higher Instep
I think for the "normal person" they will like these a lot. My feet and ankles swell a lot, so I was hoping that these would have a more room in the instep to accommodate that. The width is fine, but I wish the instep was higher for my purposes, but that would probably defeat the purpose for most others. I find that once I cram my feet into them, they're fine and the Velcro strap helps to keep my feet in place. Once I have them on, honestly they're very comfortable and cushioned on the bottom of my feet.I still give these 5 stars because they will fit the regular person well. If Crocs would come out with a version of these for people with edema they'd probably get even more business because it's hard to find footwear that's reasonably priced.

Very comfortable, solid Crocs w/ adjustable straps and solid soles and high tread great for rough ground. Great price!
Love these Crocs. They fit very snug and have nice adjustable straps on back/heel. I'm used to the firm/solid sole of the "Retro" Crocs. These have the thick, more solid, stiff sole. If you like the softer sole you may find these less comfortable, but I got used to them. I find these are better if you're walking on gravel, dirt, etc. as with the softer sole I will feel the rocks.I broke the head off the 4th metatarsal in my foot and my Dr. recommended the Retro Crocs instead of a cast or boot. My foot healed fine and I got these shoes to support my foot as I'm starting to walk again (my other shoes were worn out). There's enough cushion support w/ the security of the harder sole and lots of tread.Great price! (and I shopped around). Regarding fit: I wear a 8.5 wide in women's sneakers (or 7 regular in men's sneakers. It's a little trick I learned--men's sneakers run wider than women's and have more selection, plus white sneakers are white sneakers, so who cares?!) I got the 9 women/7mens in Crocs. Toe is a hair long, but width and height clearance are perfect. Very comfortable, so toe clearance isn't really an issue. Better hair too long than too short. My feet tend to swell by the end of the day, so the adjustable straps are very nice. There's arch support, but it's not really high. I'd say about medium. My only wish is that they would come without holes for winter (my feet get cold and wet) and walking in sand. Took them in the mud and the thick tread did great. Also, look a little less clunky than my old Crocs.

The very best shoe for plantar fasciitis sufferers, as well as everyone else....
Wonderful. I enjoy active work on my feet and hike frequently. With severe plantar fasciitis I'd almost given up until I tried these Off Road Crocs. The fit serves the foot and the foot pain is somehow or another hidden when I attach the back stays to my ankles. I love these shoes. I wear them under my suit to the office and my wife complains when she sees them on my feet when I take her out to dinner. They are just simply the best. I wear them inside the pool when I exercise and the tread prevents me from slipping and adds resistance to my workout. I took them hiking with us to Bali this past month and life was a breeze for my legs and feet. They're just about worn out now after five months of daily use so I reckon a new pair is on the agenda. Thank you to the Crocs designers and manufacturers.

Crocs vs. Holeys.
This is my first pair of Crocs. I bought them to replace a pair of classic style Holeys which are made in Canada (Crocs are made in China, by the way). The most significant difference between the classic style Holeys and the Off-Road Crocs are the number of ventilation holes (for those who haven't worn classic Crocs, those have more ventilation holes also). And let me tell you, those holes make a difference. I find these Off-Road Crocs to be really warm and they make my feet sweat. I'm going to try some Dr. Scholl's Odor-X Odor Fighting Insoles to see if they help (supposedly they absorb moisture, too). These Off-Road Crocs do run large, so I'll have plenty of room for the insoles. As other reviewers have commented, the straps on these Crocs leave much to be desired. Maybe they intentionally added adjustable straps because they knew the shoes would run large, but other than that they're an unnecessary hassle. True to their reputation, these shoes are DIVINELY comfortable. As far as the soles, my boyfriend and I did some actual Jeep off-roading over the weekend, and these performed great when we stopped for a short hike over rough terrain. I might purchase these again, but if I can find a similar style made by Holeys with more ventilation holes and the original-style strap I'll go for those.

For Croc wearers who like to go walking!
I am a lover of crocs and spend 95% of my time in crocs. I think they are the best thing since sliced bread. However the original crocs are not so good outdoors and especially when the weather gets more inclined to winter. These are brilliant, in that they have less holes in to let in water and have much deeper soles and tread. This means that you can confidently walk over a stone without it feeling through the sole. I have in the past stood on thorns in the garden that went through the old style croc soles and into my foot, with these I am pretty confident that wont happen unless it was a massive thorn! The straps are adjustable or removable if you so desire. I was worried from some reports that they would not last but I have been using mine extensively since Autumn and so far have not had any problem. I am confident that I shall be wearing these for some time.

Wonderful
I had a pair of these a few years back and literally wore them to death! Went to buy a second pair from the store only to be told they no longer carried them! So, to find them on here is great news. They have a very chunky/well padded sole and a closed toe. They are so comfortable and you feel like you walk with a bounce in your step. You either love or hate Crocs - i'm on the love side of the debate and have tried quite a few styles (always trying to replicate this style) in the past and these are by far the most comfortable and dare I say it, they look great! Very happy chappy indeed

Where manufactured maybe the clue.
Well first impressions they are not as comfortable as my original Crocs. I bought them because I wanted a more robust sole, but am beginning to wonder if two pairs of original Crocs for £34 an extra £4 from Amazon might be a better buy.The clue for comfort maybe in where manufactured. My original Crocs Italy these China. Take care Crocs M & S took their production out of their home country and eventually are paying the price presumably to maximise profits.

Very nice....,
I've been wearing Crocs for years, this is my first pair of their 'off road' version. As expected they are a very comfy fit, however, be aware that these are a wide (or wider) fit; this wasn't mentioned in the listing but was marked on the packaging. Not an issue for me, just mentioning it for the sake of completeness.Happy to recommend - especially if you have wide feet!
