Great combination mechanical keyboard. You get what you pay for.
**Update** i made a note in the review below about the small amount of static friction on the track ball, below. I picked up a tip from elsewhere online which is to get a plain candle and rub it all over the ball to give it a coating of the candle wax then spin the ball around in all directions for a while which causes the synthetic bearings to also be coated with the wax. This has made the track ball super smooth with less static friction than before. Been using this for a good 8 months now so thought it was time for a quick review. I can't quite get my head round the negative reviews on here - I've been using this keyboard for work, solidly for the last 8 months - the quality of the mechanical keys is lovely - brown switches so nice and tactile without being annoyingly loud like the cherry blue types for in the office. It's US layout, but to be honest I much prefer this to UK layout now and have switched to a US layout keyboard at home too - but be aware if you're looking / expecting a UK mapping. i bought he non-illuminated board and the keycaps are the same as the illuminated one by the looks of it - so they're properly produced keycaps where the letters will not wear off with use unlike 99% of the cheaper keyboards I've ever bought with printed caps which have been worn off completely on the most used letters over the years. The integrated trackball is, well, nothing like the usual rubbish that gets integrated into a keyboard. I was a bit worried about the button and scroll wheel placement to start with but turns out to be really usable for me. The scroll whell is "notched" not free rolling so basically like a big version of what you'd get on a mouse. I only just realised the other day that pushing left and right on the scroll wheel actually does horizontal scrolling too - probably detailed somewhere in the instruction book I never bothered to read. Trackball movement is really nice, it's up there with the big kensingtons etc - it's "clicked" into place so doesn't just lift out of the board (so the ball won't just fall out if you move the keyboard). It's optically tracked and really accurate, there's two dpi settings selectable from a function key / f9 combination but there's no indication on the board of which DPI mode it's in but I don't really change it very often. I've yet to have had to take out the ball for cleaning also seems to be really good at not picking up and accumulating dust etc. It's a lovely solid, decent built keyboard with a bit of weight to it. Will probably last years. Braided USB cable. What's more to say. Really happy with it - absolute bargain given how much you'd pay for a trackball of this size and quality and a decent mechanical keyboard if bought separately.

Can't right click after six months.
You'd think when you par the better part of £100 for a keyboard that it would work for a while. This was lovely, a little skittish with the tracking ball but nothing that caused much concern. Then the right click went kaput. On the same day I'm trying to finish work for a client while we're all in lockdown and I have to revert to the very old keyboard that gives me cramps. What joy.

Fantastic keyboard and TrackBall.
I bought this unit for my wife as she is a touch typist. We also used to have a separate keyboard and trackball in our recording studio. This all in one keyboard and trackball, she absolutely loves it. Thank you

Excellent Quality Item
Excellent Quality, proper keys, large trackball, if I was to fault it in anyway it would be the backlight only seems to illuminate the top half of keys e.g. I can see %, &, * but not the 5, 7, 8, however, as they are also on the number pad it's only a small gripe.

Loud, cheaply made and not UK standard layout
The keyboard works, the trackball works, but that is about it. The keyboard I got does not have a UK layout, with anoying issues like the "@" signe over the number 2., but you might like that. Not for me. The keyboard is loud - comically so. Like a throwback to the age of typewriters. No padding there whatsoever. Overall the manufacturing feels very cheap. The keys are large and clanky and very deep. no subtlety here. The trackball is a bit large for my likeing and works, but again lacks subtelty. All in all it is not worth more than £30 in my oppinion, and I do like the form factor, but it is let down by it's quality. Certainly not worth the money.

Awkward to use and not ergonomic due to the position our wrists are forced into
Really poor keyboard layout that cramps keys in awkward positions for your wrist. This takes way any ergonomic benefits the trackball has. Also not a true mechanical keyboard. I returned the keyboard after using it for a few days.

Brilliant keyboard, tactile keys make typing pleasurable and easy on my fingers, plus the trackball instead of mouse has reduced the strain on my wrist. Not having a wireless connection is also a bonus, there's no "black spot" on my desk for this and, in the long run, not having to replace or recharge batteries is good for the environment. It's well made and feels robust, so I'm looking forward to many years with it. Delivery time was quick, packaging was robust, it arrived with zero damage and early. Can't ask for more.

Cumple las expectativas, aunque el tacto de las teclas no es agradable, eso sería una mejora significativa.

The lighted version has full individual key RGB lighting! It has 6 different lighting modes including a very catchy raindrop mode where each key lights in a random colour then slowly fades (about 1/2 the keys lit with different colours at any time). It also has solid light modes of different colours you can choose, and a breathing mode where a wave of colour moves across the keyboard. Finally, it has a mode where random colours emanate from each key you press and flow throughout the rest of the keyboard! Very fun to watch. The keys are true mechanical keys, smooth (no click as you press them), but of course noisy as you type and each key hits the bottom of its travel. Very comfortable though. And enjoyable to press, you feel like you're pressing something of value and luxury with every keystroke. (This is my first true mechanical keyboard.) The trackball is amazing, full size trackball, what more can you say? Beautiful red colour, smooth texture, and smooth feel to rotate. Two DPI settings (Fn+F9), modern normal fast and very fast. The wheel is notched and tilts, and the mouse buttons have a good click to them. The layout of the Ins/Del/Home/PgUp/PgDn/End is quite logical I think. You use Fn+ Ins/Del/Home/PgUp/PgDn/End to change the light modes, although this is not labeled on the keys unfortunately. Fn+F12 for colour selection, and Fn+F11 for brightness (4 steps). Max brightness is sufficient for a reasonably lit bedroom, but it's not super bright. Fn+Arrow Keys adjusts the direction of the breathing pattern too. The keyboard is a little thicker than usual probably to make space for the thickness of the trackball, but it's nothing major. There is one little quirk with the trackball, though, and it's that it seems to have a sleep mode. If you don't touch it for a minute, it takes about a third of a second to wake up when you touch it next time so the first bit of movement is lost. Seems completely unnecessary for a wired product. The overall feel and weight of the product is very good. The lights turn off when the computer sleeps, and when it wakes up the previous lighting mode continues. However, when you switch lighting modes on the keyboard (eg. away from solid colour to another mode, and then back to solid colour), the solid colour you had chosen is not remembered. (It defaults back to red.) Wish list for me would include duplicate mouse buttons on the left side/edge of the keyboard, so that I can click with my left fingers while my right hand is on the trackball, without having to lift/move my fingers off of it to click the buttons below. Back and forward buttons on the left and right side of the trackball respectively. And maybe even duplicate mouse left and right buttons above the trackball, for maximum flexibility of which fingers to click with (you pretty much always have to use your thumb to click the buttons below it I find). Having duplicate mouse buttons 1 & 2 (left and right) on the left side/edge of the keyboard would also help in being able to make precise, extended movements of the ball while holding and releasing the buttons at the precise moment, eg. when photo editing or selecting files. The trackball is amazing. Why not have a whole trackball in the same space as an standard keyboard? Great for using the keyboard on your lap and having everything in one place and in one unit.
