Garrett Edge Digger with Sheath, 7.5 inches, Black

Another great product from Garrett! Digs a hole with little effort and teeth cut through roots very quickly.Just to let you know this thing is a beast and it is pretty heavy but that what makes it such a great tool for digging holes or killing zombies. The sheath easily fits on your belt and there are no issues taking it in and out. Plus has nice velcro strap to hold the shovel in when not in use. It is very well made and probably never need to buy another shovel.

Perhaps a bit overpriced, but you get what you pay for. It's lightweight yet made well.I've used it in a number of different locations and in different types of ground - Soft dirt or hard rocky type soil, nothing seems to hurt it and it's remained sharp.If you're comparing to other advertised products, this one takes top consideration. You'll be happy you decided to purchase it.

What a great tool! The Garrett edge digger is ideal for metal detecting. Cuts right through the ground so easy. I love it and am so happy I bought it. Garrett makes great products. I also use the Garrett pro pointer. Always reliable.

When it comes to detecting, everyone has their own ways and what one person loves the other will hate. For me, when it comes to the Garret digger it does the job it was made for very well. It's also a good tool to have on you to dig around an object for easier recovery or to make a hole slightly bigger or dig out a sidewall more if need be.Pros:- Good build quality. Unless you start prying on a root 4 inches in diameter or try and pull up a boulder from underground, the blade will never bend on you. Honestly if you bend it, it's your own fault.-The working length of the digger sits right around 7 and a half inches; plenty long enough to dig up most all coins you're going to run across in a single push. Blade is long enough to get down deep enough and is wide enough to leave you with a hole you can work with, while still leaving a small hole to cover back in.- Sheath and belt loop are heavy duty with a rigid plate to keep its form, and I don't see it wearing out or breaking anytime soon. Digger is very easy to grab and re-sheath while detecting.Cons:-I've not experienced this problem myself, but have had one friend have an issue with the rubber grip tending to loosen, and have heard others have it loosen after heavy use.- It does the job it was built for very well, but I definitely wouldn't have it as my only digging tool.- Although in my area this isn't an issue and I feel stupid for even having to mention this, I think it should be brought up for potential buyers. In modern-day America in certain areas of the country this may cause you a bit of aggravation in public areas. To some random park-goer at a glance this appears to be something along the lines of a giant Buck knife. It does have the general outline of a large knife, and if you pull this out while detecting in a public area, I wouldn't be surprised if someone were to call the police on you for being a crazy knife-wielding lunatic. It's even stamped on the digging blade "for detecting use" so I'm guessing Garrett is even aware and put that on their to show cops it's not a murder weapon if they approach you.

Just got my new Garrett edge digger in today . Haven't used it yet but I can already tell that I'm gonna love it . It is made well and has good weight to it , I was very surprised. I didn't think it would be this nice and durable. Going tona new permission in the morning, came just in time !

It's great! Just what I needed and wanted. It should last and is stout enough to hold up to digging.

Da avere a tutti i costi. Resta comodamente in cintura, permette di fare scavi di almeno una ventina di centimetri senza grossi problemi ed ha la punta leggermente arrotondata, cosa che a parer mio è un pregio, infatti se per caso colpite l'oggetto che state cercando avete molte piu' probabilità di non rovinarlo.

Das Messer ist nicht zu knicken, super stabil, liegt gut in der Handund hat schön scharfe aber trotzdem stabile Kanten um Erde auch "schneiden" zu könnenund so ein kleines Loch für Fundsachen dierekt unter der Oberfläche ausheben zu können.Ich habe das Messer beim Sondeln ab jetzt immer dabei.
