Once you master the pressing of buttons and adjusting at the same time, it serves its purpose. I don't think it's suitable if you want to adjust often, for example attempting following the changes in the high of an electric desk.

I love the height range as I have two different monitors and needed one at 6" and one at 10" and these were the only monitor stands I could find with that kind of range. They are clean looking, allow for storage under them, and are very simple to setup. The only slight negative I have run into is that I have a plastic table as a desk and the stands are also made of plastic so they can slide when accidently bumped. They also wobble a little when bumped. These two issues have not been a big problem and overall I am so happy with the purchase and would highly recommend them.

Working from home at my old desk was killing my neck. I needed something that put my monitors up about 6-7 inches (and didn't know exactly sure where I needed them). I bought two of these stands and they have been working very well. While getting the setting adjusted properly was a little trickier than it should have been, these stands have a wide range of height. I'm running 27" monitors, and they seem to have no problem with the weight.
