E-flite Float Set w/Accessories UMX Carbon Cub/UMX Timber EFLUA1190 Miscellaneous Airplane Accessories

Put them on my original timber. Ran great in the snow and water. Somewhat easy to assemble would like to see a better plastic mount. Tons of fun and looks great. Have this and the big version and prefer these.

I bought these for my UMX Turbo Timber. The description says they works for a Carbon Cub, which I assume is accurate. The front mount fits the Timber but rear mount required some bending. I was still not able to get the straps over the wire for the rear mount but held in place fine and worked great! Like others said, if the plane flips and gets wet, it will stop working. But I let it dry over night and seems fine. Under normal use, the plane did not get wet enough to damage anything.

The price is just fantastic. But, the function isn't great. The 1st water takeoff or landing is fun, but as water splashes up on the floats and plane(Sport Cub S2) it gets so heavy that takeoff and flying are almost impossible. The plane weights 38grams, and water is 0.05g per drop. Larger planes aren't sensitive to water weight like this one.For flying without water, meaning hand launch or ice/snow, the floats are barely noticeable in flight.Bottom line, it's cheap enough to try it, but I'm removing my floats and going back to wheels.

They were very easy to install.They worked great on the water. I had a lot of fun with these on the Cub S2, but you need perfectly calm wind to fly.

These floats were designed for a plane that was discontinued in 2013. Back then, the cost was $19.99. But they are still sold for multiple UMX planes from Eflite. So there can be compromises.While they work well enough with the UMX Turbo Timber, they needed to be reworked for the UMX Timber X. In the photo, you'll see that I had to move the mounting bases 20mm forward.Worse yet, they use steel screws to secure steel wires inside a weak plastic housing. It is very difficult to get those screws tight without damaging the soft foam you are twisting against.But if you want to fly off water, it's about the only solution.

Trash won’t fit correctly. It’s sad how terrible horizon products are anymore.

awesome floats for the UMX Timber X. easy to install. easy to fly.

Fit the UMX Timber well. The plane flys well with them on and now lands and takes off well from water. I’d buy again.

floats are great but amazon price right now is insane $75 they use to be 32 and i bought them for 22

The floats work but they are very cheaply made. The wires are too weak and the way they are attached could of been better. Just bad quality by the manufacturer.
