Added these to my external filter, not a fluvel one but an all pond solutions brand, does the same job and fits in media baskets with no issues.

Don't really work.
Installed these out of desperation after a crashed cycle. I'd been monitoring nitrite for a week prior. They made literally no difference even with 2 in the filter. Try something else

GREAT product
Even though many people told me this would be a waste of money, I was desparate to try anything to reduce the nitrites in my 50 gallon tank. This product worked exactly as advertised and I haven't had an issue with nitrites since using these pads. Definitely recommend!

Fits perfect, great value!
Fits perfect, great value. Clears the water and removes various waste products. Well made and seem durable and cleanable. Effective at cleaning the water, but takes a little while to get to fully clear. Easy too replace, swap and go. These enhance the existing sponge filters.

This is a great addition to my filter. Amonia was removed after 2 days. I put them as the last fiter. I don’t have fluval filter so I just cut them to fit on my filter.

Nitrites gone!
I'm very pleased with Fluval products and the Nitrite filters are a very effective and affordable way to keep your fish healthy and happy. Remember to use their other filters in conjunction with this filter as well. Carbon filters, ceramic bio filters and polishing filters are all required for the Fluval canister filters.

Excellent produit
Excellent produit. Parfait pour le Fx6. Facile d’utilisation. Nous avons eu un gros problème de nitrites durant un temps, qui nous a fait malheureusement perdre quelques poissons. Même si le problème de nitrites est passé, j’aime mieux prévenir avec l’utilisation de ce produit! Nous sommes très satisfait de notre achat!
