This is the perfect boom box to have! It has an/fm radio as well as a cd player. We use it in our barn and have not had any issues. It’s battery life isn’t the best but you can plug it in and play it right away.

I like it a lot. It looks nice. Has a good retro feel. And, operates very smoothly. The sound quality is great. Size is small and compact. Plays all my old cd’s perfectly. It also has updated technology for Bluetooth and USB connections. Overall, I’m very happy.

I wanted to get my wife a small compact boombox that plays CDs that she can use while she is on her chromebook and got this Singing Wood boombox for her. It's pretty easy to use, has pretty good sound quality and plays her CD's with no problems. It has a top-loading CD player and the controls are up front for it....tho a bit hard to see in low light for which button to press for on, pause, stop, repeat and so on for this CD player. They could have made the letterings in white and a bit larger in size....but that's a minor issue. No remote control available on this boombox.....that would have been nice to have, but again, just another minor issue. You get what you pay for and this boombox has decent sound for her tunes. I got her the nice blue boombox and she loves it. It has a built-in handle to carry it around indoors or outdoors. AC/DC powered also. It also has AM/FM radio on it too and radio reception on FM is not too bad. Overall, this is a decent-looking and decent sounding portable basic boombox that does the job it's suppose to do for the price. I gave it 4 stars out of 5 stars mostly due to the difficulty in seeing the CD control button letterings on the front of the unit, otherwise a wonderful little boombox for sure.

Bought this for my garage and CD use only. The radio is light weight which makes for easy portability. However, the power cord is short and there are no bass and treble knobs. The radio was advertised as a “boom box” so I guessed wrong in assuming it would have these features. The CD works fine and I haven’t had any issues with it. Because there are no knobs to control the treble or bass the speakers are monotone. For what and where I use it can’t complain. Price is reasonable and it works.

I took a chance with buying this radio after my wife’s old one stopped working—-different brand. She loves it and it keeps her company in her sewing room. She was so happy with it I bought one for my sister to enjoy.

I purchased this for my 9 year old grandson for his birthday. I had also purchased his favorite cds a bit earlier for him not knowing that he needed a player. Anyway, I read Amazon reviews of portable cd players ad nauseam. I think I read every single 4+ star review offered by Amazon. Twice. I chose this particular model for its high rating, great sound, performance and ease of use and because it came in my grandson’s favorite color. Looking back, those reasons are not the criteria you should follow when looking for a small cd player. After the item arrived, there was some delay before his birthday as well as getting batteries. It does not come with them. More delay in that we all contracted the newest COVID. Finally When his birthday celebration rolled around and I’d obtained batteries, I checked on the functionality of the item. I found this player to be more of a toy than I had expected. The control knobs weren’t adhered to the product very well. I would be complimentary by saying they were wobbly. It was more like using Jello to tune your device. Not efficient. You couldn’t get either AM or FM radio stations to play well. Both AM and FM stations played lovely static…and that is all. You could not tune the thing. It played the first cd inserted for less than one song. I’m not exaggerating when I say he was disappointed. Ever seen a 9 year old boy do all he can not to cry? He didn’t, but I did. All in all, a very substandard machine. I would not recommend this cd player with AM/FM for anyone or any occasion unless it’s a gag-gift. It will gag you. It will not make you laugh. One triumph! My grandson liked that it was red. Otherwise it could be used as a somewhat cumbersome doorstop. Incredibly disappointing gift….in any color!
