Atrend BBox E10D Dual 10" Sealed Carpeted Subwoofer Enclosure, Black

I bridged a Taramps TS 400x4 AMP to power 2 400 WATT, Skar 10 inch 2 ohm, duel voice coil subwoofers wired in parallel making them 4 ohms. My front/rear Sony coaxial speakers are wired through 2 separate Taramps TL-1500's for 95x4. The subwoofers are in THIS sealed enclosure, not ported. That is my preference. I have always liked the cone response from subs in a sealed enclosure, but to each his own. The enclosure is heavy, it's constructed of MDF. The fabric is adhered perfectly to the box with ZERO flaws. I had forgotten what it was like to have a nice car stereo. The 3 amps are very small but don't let that deceive you. In the cabin of my 96 Subaru Impreza outback, this setup will knock your socks off. Unbelievable.

The carpet was in great shape and the box is built rugged with 3/4 MSD . I put 2 kicker comp 12s in the box gave it lots insulation the speakers have good deep bass . My only complaint is the wire connections are cheap i switched them out with better ones.

The Bbox dual sealed 12” subwoofer enclosure is built really well — solid construction, clean carpeting, and delivers tight, accurate bass. My subs sound great in this box! Only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because the packaging could be better. It arrived with a small dent on one of the corners, but thankfully it didn’t affect performance. Still a great value overall and would definitely buy again.

I bought this box on a limb not knowing the brand or the build quality. It was a great price and saw that it used a 1" baffle. I have a set of 10" Infinity Reference subs (which I bought here at a great price!) that just weren't living up to their full potential in a ported box. I'm powering them with a Soundstream Reference 1.500 500 watt amp (which I bought here also!). And I have to say, not only is it a well built & sturdy box, it really made my subs come to life! All the seams are fully sealed with caulking and carpeting is well placed. Now my subs are hitting hard with lower notes I wasn't getting before. The only problem I have with them is the terminals. I personally prefer binding post terminal which promote more current. Other than that, great box for the price!

I was a little nervous after reading the review about the box blowing apart right away, I have two Skar ix-12 on a bridged punch 550.2 at 2 ohms I'm guessing the actual wattage around 1500 or so and they hit really hard. When I opened the box up I noticed it was put together pretty well and finished nicely with no noticeable defects in quality. The MDF is thinner on the back and sides while the face is really stout, seems close to an inch thick. I've been abusing this box with excessive bass for a few weeks and its not given out on me. Time will tell but it seems adequate, and will likely continue to do it's job competently. 1/15/2021 Update: I now have two sundown 12" subs in this box with the same setup, these hit like a horse kick to the head and the box is holding strong.

If you are looking for a small sealed enclosure that will house the deep frame 12" subs this box is for you. the front mounting panel on the box is made of 1" MDF which needed for some of the newest subs that weigh 30+ lbs. The speaker wire terminals are a little cheap but for $39.00 go to radio shack and add the bigger push terminals and you still have a great box cheaper than anyone else. I was not looking for boomy bass just to fill the sound platform in my car. I installed two of the Pioneer dual 2 ohm subs wired 1 ohm each using two precision power amps. they are rated rms 1000w at 1 ohn and do an amazing job all tied together. Kick drums sound like kick drums and bass guitar is amazing when you do want to turn it up. And the best part if you have Amazon Prime it ships for free and mine arrived in two days!

I personally used to own a business called Sampsonracing Inc., and along time ago, I used to build these box's as part of my business, but as we all know we get lazy, or older and don't really feel like building one at the moment, but let me tell you something, this box, actually impressed me, especially for the price, it is well crafted, sealed correctly, like it should be, and they even throw in a extra section of carpet, to replace any imperfection's.. I would definitly suggest this box to anyone looking for a good sealed box, without having to fork out a lot of cash... Very well built, looks good, you can't beat the price, i haven't installed subs yet, im sure it will handle a couple of 10" subs no problem Update... This subwoofer cabinet with two 10" subs sounds amazing. I lined the inside with insulation and wow! Super deep base, crisp and clear. Sub box is built very well. Good stuff, great price, amazing sound!!!

As background, I own a car audio installation business and build custom subwoofer boxes regularly. However, I am often able to save costs for customers by purchasing ATrend prefabricated subwoofer enclosures like this dual 12" design. The quality of the materials including mdf wood, carpet, glue, and wiring terminal are all high quality and for the price is a remarkable value for anyone looking for a subwoofer box. In this installation I've loaded a pair of Hertz Energy 12" DVC subwoofers capable of 1050 watts peak power each, and they sound and look fantastic in this enclosure. Good job ATrend - you've definately earned my business! Update: The purchase price was only $110 Canadian at the time I wrote this review.
