Typical good quality Meguiar’s professional line product. Used it to convert my old PC 7424 to 3” for small panel/tight area duty since I picked up a new long throw polisher. Threads right on to the PC. It vibrates a bit but still runs fine with the original counterweight meant for a larger backing plate.

Picked up to get into smaller spots my 5.5" pads didn't fit on the new car. Having an older truck with giant slabs of paint i never really needed a smaller pad. I also ordered the Griots Garage 3" pads for this backing plate - orange, red, and black. The backing plate seems very well made and sturdy. Hopefully will give me many years of use. I used this plate on my CG Torq DA to work some defects from my wifes CRV paint. The griots orange with some Meguiars polish followed by the black pads with BF sealant. Unit did not hang up, and pads were still perfect. Backing plate held up great. Also used this plate on a friends headlights. They just wanted to correct the hazing enough to sell the car. Used metal polish on a black pad and did two rounds. Cleaned up fantastic and again the plate was great.

Worked fantastic with the McGuire's large buffer.

Fit great and easy installation. Is also more flexible than the original backplate on my griot’s garage 3 inch polisher.

Maybe cheaper options.

As always products from Meguires is of good quilty. Needed something smaller to detail a motorcycle.

I can't say enough about Meguiars products. This disk was purchased after I detailed my car and I realized that I needed a smaller disk for smaller areas. It helps to finish the entire job.

It did what it’s intended for! No complaints!
