I love this product! It produces the right amount of intensity. I use this product for cooling my bedroom. It enables me to sleep comfortably. I would definitely recommend this product to others. You will not be disappointed. It is the perfect size. I place mine on a small table, so it’s eye level. The price is affordable and well worth it’s cost.

A friend of mine had the black & yellow Stanley version of this blower out on his dock during a Summer party. I was impressed by the quietness and volume of air it moved, so I bought one at Wal-Mart. The motor burned out within a couple of weeks. They didn't have any to exchange, so I got a refund and purchased the Air King version from Amazon. It has survived over a year now with no problems. This same fan seems to be sold under several brands with the only difference being the color scheme: Air King (gray/black), Stanley (yellow/black), and Lasko (navy/black). There were two versions sold under the Air King brand. The 9550 had a removable, "computer-style" power cord. The Air King 9552 (like the Stanley and Lasko) has a permanently-attached power cord. I wouldn't be surprised to see this unit sold under other brands as well, but they all appear identical except for color. UPDATE: As of August 31, 2015, this blower and the Lasko version I have still work perfectly. They've been used continuously for weeks at a time both indoors and outdoors. It is still a little pricey for what it is - and even more so now than 5 years ago, but I still wouldn't hesitate to buy another one.

A little noisy. We own the yellow Stanley that has an identical housing, this moves the same air as the Stanley but is noisier. I can see the motor inside the Air King is bigger than the Stanley motor. The a/c cable is ridiculous. It’s marked as 14/3 but is as thick as 12/3. This seems like a pretty heavy duty fan.

Nice, compact, powerful blower. Plastic seems very sturdy, power cord is thick and has good length, and power outlets are a nice touch. I use it on the top of my toolbox at work, and it works well for me since I am mostly in one small area. The air stream is narrow, so I don't feel it if I move much to either side of where it's pointed, but as long as I'm right in the stream it keeps me nice and cool. My plant is noisy, but from what I can tell the blower seems quiet. Intake is on the side, which is nice for me. Package arrived on time in perfect condition.

We bought two of these about 4 months ago to use in the bedroom. We like the noise of a fan, but we also like lots of air movement. These fans DO move the air. For that, I give the fan 5 stars!! However, over the last 2 weeks, the fans now put off an odor ... almost a chemical smell. My husband goes to bed hours before me, and shuts the bedroom door. When I go back the bedroom, there is a VERY strong chemical smell. The side vents are regularly vacuumed, so it is not a dust build up. I have no clue what it is, and I'm doing my best to find out. If the smell was more of an electrical smell, I would be concerned and quit using them. But it's not, it is more of a chemical smell. I will try and update this review if we figure out what the smell is.

This utility blower sure does blow. I can feel the breeze coming out of it at over 24 feet. The blower is fairly quiet even on the highest setting. I would recommend this blower in place of a standard type fan. You won't be disappointed!

We use this fan to blow cool air up from our basement to the main floor because no a/c isn't fun. It works great running continuously, but it is loud.

Bought it to use as a fan for zwift, an indoor cycling training program. Works perfect! Very powerful.
