perfect replacement works great and easy install

Works perfect!
I replaced the lower heating element in our electric hot water heater, it then worked fine, except it would get so hot it would trip the reset button. I looked at the lower thermostat and it looked like it had gotten too hot, somewhat melted. I ordered this replacement, and followed online instructions, it only took about 10-15 minutes start to finish, and the hot water heater works perfect now. I am very happy to have saved the money by doing it myself. This part fits perfect, seems well made, functions as it is supposed to, and is very reasonably priced.

Installation was easy product works. Just needs a few more degree marks
Installed easily. Maintains set temperature. It would make temperature adjustment easier if there were a few more temperature marks. Maybe 5 degree increments. Not a big deal. Once set its done. Great product.

Vital parts
After replacing thoroughly corroded elements in my heater I could not keep the breaker in the upper thermostat from popping. It was suggested I replace the upper and lower thermostats. That worked! Instructions were simple and straight-forward and for this 83 yo man simple to follow and replacement proceeded smoothly. Hot baths again!

Works as designed
My electric hot water heater was running too hot and overheating. After replacing both elements, it was still running too hot and would trip the upper thermostat breaker. The lower thermostat was stuck 'on'. This fixed that condition and now all is working OK.

Easy to install and is working properly. Remember to remove electrical power before beginning to install.

Not an exact fit. Would not mount correctly. Went to an Electrical store to get the right one.
