Restores the bottom end that was removed during the recording process, in the studio, and it does happen so people don't blow their stuff up. It makes a BIG difference for a lot of my cd's from the 80's. Associated equipment is Alpine head unit, CDA117, Audio Control 3.2, Kimber Kable KCAG .5m, fully silver rca's from head unit to pre-amp. Preamp to Epicenter to Zuki Audio 5 channel Eleets via Stinger 8000 silver clad rca's, JL Audio 10W3V4 in a sealed box, Audio Dynamic components , 6.5" midbass/1" tweeters, through their respective passive crossovers, 4 sheets of Dynamat per door, various areas of my Toyota Rav 4. It is a sound quality set up, and sounds really good. The Epicenter really makes a big difference, it's NOT coming out. For $150, well worth the money spent. Just be sure to set up the remote so you can turn it off quickly if you start playing a song that actually has bass in the soundtrack.
