Excellent value for quality rugged speakers that sound great for their price.
These are the second pair of these I've bought. The first ones lasted about 4 years being played at super high volume the entire time. For the price you cant beat them as far as sound quality ande loudness, although they do need an amp to get a good sound. The new ones sound great as the first ones. If you want decent priced quality speakers , then I recommend these for sure.

Great for homemade cooler radios
Fair sound quality for the price with generous accessories. Used for a cooler radio that I built and haven’t had any issues. They do tend to get a bit distorted at higher volumes but that’s somewhat expected given the size. The included screens and cable were generous, as were the templates for cutting. No complaints.

Decent sound for the money
Installed in my 06, Chevy truck. Replaced blown speakers. Sound decent. Only 4 stars, because the box card says 5 year warranty, but they only give you 3.

Surprisingly good speaker for the money
I bought the Pyle PL53BL speakers to replace the factory rear seat side panel speakers in my 97 Dodge 2500 Club Cab. I bought these before removing the original speakers, as all the speaker fitment guides here and elsewhere indicated these were a fit. They did fit but weren't an exact fit as the original speakers were closer to a 5.75" or possibly 6" size. The two speaker mounting points in the truck's metal were spaced just close enough to enable me to get mounting screws in the slots in the Pyle speaker frames, so they did mount OK. However, due to the smaller diameter there was a sizable air gap (about 1.8" or so) between the speaker and hole in the truck's metal. I closed off this gap using some putty-like weather rope seal from a big box home improvement store. I'm running these speakers on an older Alpine CDA-9856 head unit and Alpine 3566 6-channel amp (conservatively rated 35W RMS x4 and 120W RMS for bridged sub channel into 4 Ohms). Following advice from several reviewers and professional installers, I bought a roll of sound dampening material to apply to the door panels and elsewhere. I bought roof repair material - Tape and Seal is one brand - which is very similar to another very high priced product and it worked quite well. Once this was done and the speakers were mounted and connected to the amp, I turned it on for the first time. After the initial checkup to make sure all speakers were working, I cranked up the volume to a pleasantly loud level and was very surprised and pleased to hear the quality of sound coming from these inexpensive speakers. Being 5.25" bass drivers they understandably don't produce much bass output but the midrange and highs are much smoother and detailed than I was expecting. I paired these up with a pair of Pyle Driver PLDV6K 6.5" 2-way component speakers in the front doors and I'm very pleased with how nicely these compliment them. They're well matched regarding their efficiency, producing very near the same volume level and similar sound quality. While not quite as smooth and clear as the fronts, they do a splendid job of providing clean sounding music to fill the rear seat area and filling the back of the cab. They're SO much better than the original factory speakers. So, long story short, I HIGHLY recommend these for anyone looking for a very reasonably priced, smaller coax system and wants surprisingly accurate, smooth and detailed sound quality and listens to their music at reasonably loud levels. I would definitely buy these again and recommend these to others. UPDATE: After about 2 years these speakers have basically "given up the ghost" and for the most part are now inoperable. I had hoped they would be able to handle the clean power of my Alpine amp, especially since they weren't getting all the bass signal they would in a full range system, but alas they didn't. They are now working intermittently, with audio "popping on and off" as the speakers' litz wire (the flexible wire between the frame and cone) apparently makes and breaks continuity. I still liked the sound quality they produced when they worked well earlier, I'm just now believing they aren't made to handle even the 35+ watts RMS/channel my amp can produce. The front Pyle Driver PLDV6K 6.5" 2-way component speakers on the other hand are still performing well, which is why I believe it's just a simple matter of inadequate power handling ability that has caused these speakers to die off. In a lesser powered system they may work better and longer.

Finally got around to installing them...
Purchased these way back in December 2011, and finally got around to installing them in the dash of my 1998 Dodge Grand Caravan last night. These replaced the OEM speakers, which were long dead. Only the rear speakers worked since I "inherited" the van from my wife 2 1/2 years ago. It's a beater, 15 years old and has over 250K miles, and at that age you just accept some things are going to quit working, and accept it. Except I love music, and I spend way too much time driving to and from work on my 30-mile commute to suffer through the poor tonality of rear speakers that I have to crank up loud to hear way up in the driver's area of the cabin. That, and I had installed a new head unit that has Bluetooth, but the Bluetooth didn't work because the voice of the other caller is piped through the front speakers...which means they could hear me, but I could not hear them due to my dead front speakers. Well, these speakers were quite inexpensive, and the reviews were pretty good despite the low price. So I bought them. But after receiving them, the trepidation of actually pulling out the dash to install them caused me to throw them in the floorboard, still boxed up, where they slid around until the box was frayed. Flash forward to this week, when I decided I would finally try my hand at installing them. After watching a youtube video demonstrating how to remove the dash, I finally got brave enough to tackle the job. It actually went pretty smoothly, the biggest problem being the really short length of the existing speaker wire I had to cut the adapter off of and strip and splice the speaker onto (I just cut the speaker wire that came with the speakers off about 15 inches behind the prong that slips onto the terminals and spliced it to the existing speaker wire). Well, I've had a day with them so far. The sound is very bright, bordering on shrill, so you will want to take the edge off the higher frequencies if you can by using your equalizer (or presets) to make some adjustments. Very accurate in the upper range in terms of fidelity. Not much bass to speak of. Unlike others, I didn't experience any distortion when I cranked up the head unit, which is rated at 4 X 50 watts, to its upper limits. But really, how can I complain? For around $15, these are all that I needed to get some music back in the front of my cabin, they work and sound just fine, so it's money well spent. I didn't expect $15 speakers to sound like they cost $200, but I would say these sound way better than what you should expect from $15 speakers.

Suoni puliti e definiti, molto meglio dei diffusori originali (anche loro di ottimo livello).

These car speakers performed well above my expectations, especially given their affordable price. The sound quality is exceptional — with crisp highs, solid bass, and a clear, well-balanced overall output. What impressed me most is how powerful they are for their compact size. They easily outperform some higher-end brands I have used in the past. Installation was quick and straightforward. For the price, you truly can’t go wrong. Highly recommended!
