**Q: What cable can be used to extend the range? (I have about 20' to go)**
A: I used a pair of wires in a CAT6 cable for a 15'-20' run, works fine.

**Q: Can you use the remote to turn the main unit on and off ? I want to avoid a trip to the attic when leaving on vacations .**
A: Yes

**Q: Without batteries how do you charge the remote controller? Is there an electric wall charger?**
A: My Remote is hard wired.  No battery needed.

**Q: How long of an extension can you run with the 18 gauge thermostat wire?  I have the heating unit in the attic above the third floor and need 30 ft.**
A: Not sure. I just put the controller in the attic next to the instant heater and set the parameters - on/off time for the recirculator and the temp (120 deg). Not sure its necessary to have it on the wall in your living space.
