Nonlinear Finite Elements for Continua and Structures

This book is awesome. I'm using it as the main text for my thesis project that regards of contact between elastic bodies. The book is comprehensive, clear and mathematically rigorous.

This book is invaluable for anyone who is serious about studying computational mechanics. Definitive.

In a very good condition

i have not read the entire book yet, but it looks very professional and deep book. On the other hand, despite the expensive price, the books itself looks very cheap like a book that you have printed in your office printer. it is a big shame for wiley. they could prepare a least durable book. at the beginning I even thought it is one of the scam books because of poor quality, but i dont know any way to check if it is original or not. anyway, it is a pleasure to read this book. i gave the stars to authors, not to wiley.

Normally Amazon will use cardboard box for thick book but this time a soft pack. Annoying damage in book

The overall best monograph on nonlinear FEM. Very insightful and rigorous too.

O livro tem um conteúdo bastante abrangente e bem profundo. Ótimo para ser utilizado como material de estudo. Meus únicos problemas com o livro são: - um erro gráfico no apêndice do livro (pag 751). - um amassado no canto inferior esquerdo, que só incomoda, mas não atrapalha. Eu recomendo para todos com interesse em modelar sistemas contínuos.
