Excellent Tablet for the Price
I've had this baby for a few weeks now and can say this is the best tablet I've found that fits both my needs and my budget. I got this for under $200 on Amazon and am super impressed by it.PROS:Android - enough said. Lenovo also doesn't put a lot of bloatware on this which is nice. They have Norton pre-installed so it asked me periodically if I wanted to activate it, but I just disabled it and it doesn't run anymore. That's the only "bloat" app that I've noticed so far, and honestly it was super easy to stop it and disable it all-together.Lightweight - I keep this in my purse and it barely adds any weight to it. My hands do not get tired of holding it for extended periods of time.Battery life - This thing will literally last you days. Example: I charged this on Friday at work and took it home for the weekend. I promptly spent about 4 hours on Netflix, another few hours on Reddit. Saturday I used it to play Spotify in the garage for about 4 hours as well as well as some poking around on the internet. Sunday I went on Reddit again for a while, poked around the internet, and explored the Play Store and got Final Fantasy III which I played for a few hours before bed. I did all of the mentioned tasks with full brightness on, and I did not plug it in once. This morning i took it back to work to charge, and it still had 43% battery left. My phone in comparison barely lasts a day and would never allow me all weekend usage like this without charges.Accepts USB on the go cables - I am really into photography and was looking for a tablet which could function as a photo dump medium when I'm traveling so I don't have to lug my laptop around. A $1 USB cable from china and a USB SD card reader make copying photos from my DSLR's SD card to the tablet SO EASY. Doesn't require rooting, and I use Astro File Manager (free from the Play Store) to do the transfer. Nothing could be easier, and it's made life that much simpler (and my backpack that much lighter).Kickstand - the tablet comes with a built-in kickstand which is GREAT. It is really solid and does well to prop the tablet up as a display on a flat surface (good when watching Netflix). Also when reading in bed or other places it gives a little bit more angle for easier reading and viewing without having to constantly prop the thing up with your hands, pillows, legs, cat, etc.Front-facing speakers - this is a great feature to have. As I mentioned previously I used this to play music in the garage. Because the speakers are on the front of the device, they blast music at fairly good quality in the direction of the screen. I can use the kickstand to prop it up and the music just fills the room. Also great for watching Netflix. Thing to note with the speakers is that anyone in front of the tablet hears it really well, anyone behind it or off to the side will not hear as well (but that's to be expected). If you like to Netflix or Hulu in the bathtub, the kickstand and front facing speaker combo is perfect for this.Easy to hold - due to one side having the round battery housing/kickstand mechanism, it is the perfect place to get a grip on your device. Reading in portrait mode doesn't suck, because you can actually hold the device how you want it without it slipping or cramping your hand up. Holding this feels really natural.Solid construction - this tablet is not plastic. It's got a nice heavy metal feel without being heavy. But it is metal. Aluminum maybe? Either way it looks really nice and feels really nice, professional, and sleek. When I use it I don't feel like it's going to fall apart in my hand or have a plastic component that will fail or crack.Expandable memory - you can add a MicroSD chip to this to increase the storage space.CONS:Not the fastest tablet - for under $200 you're not getting a lot of processing power. Obviously you have enough to email, Netflix, surf the web, watch movies, play basic and not-so-basic games. The tablet does all these things very nicely, but you will notice a slight lag when comparing to Apple or Samsung devices. I can still load it up with as many apps and widgets as I want and it performs nicely; I'm not so big about speed so it's not a big deal to me that an app opens up in 0.5 seconds longer than it would on another device.Touchscreen Sensitivity - I have trouble finding a stylus that works with this device. The touchscreen isn't super sensitive, so when you tap a link or an app, you have to commit to it, you can't just ever-so-softly graze the screen with a finger or a stylus. This makes handwriting with a stylus a bit tricky and takes some getting used to, but it's not a deal breaker for me. For people who want to use a tablet as an artistic medium and draw/create things, I would probably recommend another device.Overall for under $200 you're getting a great deal. It's a very nice tablet and does day-to-day tasks very well. It's helpful in the field for photography, and with the battery life I know it's not going to let me down. I did a lot of research before purchasing this, and I'm glad I went for this tablet over some more expensive brands.TLDR: Great tablet, great price, battery lasts forever, awesome features and construction, slightly slower compared to other tablets, stylus use requires patience.

Best 10-inch Android tablet for the price
While the technical specs for this tablet aren't the highest available, this is a very usable tablet, able to handle everything I've thrown at it without feeling sluggish. I was a bit put-off by the fact that it only has 1 GB of RAM, (my phone has 2,) I decided it was worth a shot, since I was getting it primarily for web browsing and ebooks. Once I had it, I did try to push it, and haven't been disappointed. I've played Netflix videos and numerous 3D games, including GTA3 and Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit without difficulty. The battery life is amazing as well. After 4 hours of Netflix over Wi-Fi, I still had over 50%. I've owned it for over a month, and regardless of how heavily I used it, I've never gotten less than 2 days use out of a charge. I also like that Lenovo is ignoring the all-too-common trend of not including a micro SD slot. User-expandable storage is a good thing, and far too many manufacturers are moving away from it.The physical construction of the tablet is very solid, with an aluminum frame and plastic back panel. The screen is very clear and easily viewable. The built-in stand is very sturdy, and I've used it a lot more than I expected. The stand can be a bit difficult to open at first. The trick is to forget trying to lift up under the notch on the back - instead just grab the rounded side and rotate. I was also very impressed with how much easier it is to hold than a lot of the tablets I've used. The thicker, rounded edge fits in my hand very naturally, particularly when holding it in portrait mode. Even in landscape, being able to rest my fingers against the protrusion gives me a grip that feels much more secure. The only complaint I have about the ergonomics is that, while the plastic back panel has a matte texture, I wish it was rubberized. As it it, it still feels a bit slick. For those that care, I had no trouble rooting it using instruction on XDA Developers. So why 4 stars rather than 5? There are a few complaints, and most of them are either fixable, or are issues that most users won't care about. I really don't like Lenovo's default launcher. It's trying too hard to emulate iOS - I really prefer a more vanilla Android interface. I switched to Nova Launcher. Also, it's running Android 4.2 instead of the latest, 4.4. No official word from Lenovo regarding whether it will ever be updated. And while rooting it was easy, there aren't any custom ROMs available, because some of the hardware is too proprietary, so an unofficial 4.4 upgrade probably isn't going to happen.Overall, it's a great product, and, even with the complaints, I am very happy with it and would gladly purchase again.
