I could not use this. I had major back surgery and the donut is VERY HARD. I do not recommend purchase of this product!

what patient weight is this rated for?

I weigh 290 and I'm thinking of getting my money back. If you weight a lot, you'd be better off just rolling/shaping a beachtowel into a donut shape.
