OXO Steel Single Wall Cocktail Shaker

Great design, like a lot of OXO products. Very well made, precision fitting parts, and fun to use. No issues with leaks and easy to open and pour. The graduated measure is a great design and very easy to read. Highly recommended product at a fair price. Cheers!

Hands down the best shaker. Well constructed and easy to use. Doesn’t leak thanks to the rubber seal.

A lightweight but solid product. It functions just as expected, making great margaritas for me. The seals do not leak, it’s dishwasher safe and is fun to use. Definitely recommended for typical light home use.

love this brand. I have several shakers now, but this is my go to. It does everything right. It's overbuilt for quality as is every OXO product you can buy. This brand often costs a bit more, but in my experience, it's always worth the ever-so-slight price differential. I really enjoy this -- and, the cap, has markings for ounces so you can use it as a jigger to measure cocktail ingredients in a pinch if you misplace your regular jigger. Well thought out, sturdy, robust. Love this brand.

Top does not get stuck on which is my issue with most shakers. It is not insulated which to me is a positive since drinks get colder. My only complaint is the shape of pour spout is difficult to clean.

This cocktail shaker is really nice. The form factor is amazing, and I love that the lid can be used to measure. It definitely doesn’t get stuck, which is an improvement over almost all other cocktail shakers. It’s very easy to hold and grip. For most simple drinks, this shaker will be completely perfect. However, if you’re making a whiskey sour or something with egg whites, the shaker has a tendency to pop open as the egg whites froth up, making a huge mess and spilling the drink you just carefully measured out. It has happened to me on multiple occasions, sadly. I found that if I pop the top off (not the whole upper part of the shaker, but just the lid you would remove to pour) in between shakes, it lets out enough pressure that the shaker doesn’t explode. It’s just a matter of remembering to do it before the pressure builds too much. All that said, I have not found a better shaker (and I have tried), so I would still recommend fully.

Sturdy, well made shaker I pop mine in the freezer for a bit prior to drink prep - does a great job!

This shaker is great! Great size. Doesn't leak. Can make multiple drinks (3-4 drinks fit). So much better than a cobbler shaker. The lid never gets stuck on me. My new go to shaker for work now! Also I love that the lid doubles as a shot measuring pourer.

Excellent product. Good size. Seals tightly, but still easy to open. Jigger in the lid is a nice feature. Don’t listen to those who complain that it is only single walled and gets too cold. First, the description clearly states that it is single walled, so there is no surprise. Secondly, it really doesn’t get that cold. What are these complainers mixing?

I’ve been looking for a good cobbler shaker for a year but not bought one due to my arthritis making it difficult for me to open the fully metal ones. In the past I’ve had shakers seal themselves with the cocktail stuck inside forevermore as no amount of bashing or hot water would release the seal. The oxo shaker is amazing! The rubber seals on both lid parts (strainer and the cap) clipped together easily. I shook my cocktail until the whole of the outside was icy (still working on the perfect espresso martini) and then the cap popped off super easily allowing me to pour my cocktail out! The other pet also came of very easily so I could empty and rinsr straight away. I will mention that it isn’t double walled (and doesn’t claim to be) but this is exactly what I wanted and the single waaall didn’t affect the grip for me. When washing it prior to use I popped some art and fairy in it and shook without ice and surprisingly that didn’t leak either!
