Horobin 100 mm (4 Inch Drop Scraper Drain Gutter Moss Debris Unblock Rod attachment for Drain Rod

I had to clear debris from a roof gutter which extended over a substantial drop that made ladder access impossible. I screwed this gadget onto several lengths of drain rod and was able to run the rods along the gutter and pull the debris towards me safely and with minimal hassle. Amazing value.

Used it to clear leaves, weeds and moss from gutter. Well made. Heavy enough to stay in the gutter rather than skating over the top of the obstructing vegetation.Did a decent job. Fits onto drain rod. It can unscrew itself, so be sure to re-tighten it at intervals.

Great for scraping gutters

Firstly, this does fit very well within a standard gutter and with a pole attached I was able to reach a good distance along and scrape all the debris…. However I would like to have seen the scraper part lock into place. I have some angled guttering on my roof, when I angled the scraper the essential part folds up flat again (I’ll upload a video) making it near impossible to to use unless you’re using it on guttering that’s horizontal. Other than that it works reasonably well. Of note - the poles advertised by Amazon to buy with this item don’t actually fit….

Nothing to dislike about this item. Well made and completes a second hand rodding kit of which this item was missing.

Handy gadget works ok on short lengths of pole and tends to catch on gutter brackets as you pull it back but much better than trying to do it by hand though. once you add around 3 to 4 poles becomes difficult to control. Good value if you already have the pole set.

I purchased this drain scraper to clear out some semi-blocked land drains. Works a treat and should stay up to many years of service.
