Excellent lightweight field gold detector
Superb design, feather-weight for amazing portability in rugged terrain. Simple collapsible design for easy back-pack transport. Excellent frequency and sensitivity/threshold settings, wireless controller and headphones eliminates wire tangle inconvenience and makes collapsing/transporting the detector a cinch. Lightweight, portable, but rugged and amazingly capable gold/coin detector that's hard to match with anything else out there.

Great machine for the price.
This machine is lots of fun, lightweight and easy to use. Plus no cords to catch on brush.

Good detector but no software updates for the ORX
The ORX came out around 2018 and has been quite a good intermediate detector. Problem is for $699 XP touts itself as having wireless technology and mentions easy software updating via their ORX Update tool and a PC, yet has not had a single software update or improvement for any of the detecting program/features. XP claims they don't need to update anything on the ORX yet with their other wireless model DEUS (a step above), there have been many updates and improvements since it's release! Seems like unless you pay for their top of the line unit DEUS/DEUS II, your unit will get no improvements! Instead they offer an update pkg to the DEUS for $499! XP needs to take a lesson from NOKTA, and Minelab and not just cater to their top of the line detector...
