They weren't lying! I've had these for 10 months now and am on my feet on concrete 8 to 10 hours a day, 5 days a week and these are just as comfortable as when I first received them. I didn't have any sore feet the first few weeks to break them in at all. The very tip of the sole has peeled away a teeny-tiny bit but, I work on my knees a lot as well, so it's constantly scraping on the floor. Other than that, 1 shoe string has just started to fray. I took a gamble and ordered the same size as my running shoes, and it paid off. In my casual shoes, I am an 8. I ordered these in 8.5s, and the fit is perfect for me. My toes end right beofre where the black reinforcement strip starts on the shoe. Nice room in the toe box for thicker socks or foot swelling, and good fit in the mid-foot and heal so that my feet aren't sliding around.They have good arch support and nicely cushioned ankle support.
