I have a 4 foot diameter gas fire pit with decorative glass. But I like to burn wood, too. I bought 4 of these and overlapped in the pit. They captured 95% plus of ashes and debris. Easy to dump, and blew off the remaining dust. Perfect!

I purchased a non-Fireside fire pit because of space constraints in my van. My no-longer-available DoD fire pit folds up smaller than Fireside. Fire Maple has a similar ultra compact fire pit too. Unfortunately, these compact fire pits do not have replacement parts available. Since the Fireside fire pit is larger, I purchased this replacement mesh and used shears to cut it down to size for my DoD fire pit, allowing sufficient material to fold new edges on the 2 cut sides. A metal straight edge and a rubber mallet made quick work of folding over the new edges. Then I used a hammer and small punch to create screw holes. By investing an hour in resizing this Fireside mesh, I’m able to continue using my beloved compact DoD fire pit for years to come. I will re-purchase another Fireside mesh when this one succumbs to the heat from usage.

Love this fire pit. Lightweight and compact. Easy to set up/disassemble. After years of use, I finally had to replace the mesh screen. This product was a great price and perfect fit. Well worth the money.

These screens are tuff. I bought this as a backup after the original screen started to get weak after about 100 fires. The old screen is still holding up so I keep this one in the bag for when then original screen finally gives out.

I use this in my fireplace, I burn Duraflame logs and it’s so easy to just empty or vacuum the fluffy ash. 1 usually lasts 2 seasons, I normally order at the end of the season, to be ready for next year.

Campfire defender pop up fire pit replacement mesh. the original didn’t last long certainly not the 50 fires suggested on the packaging. However love the portability of the pit and as long as I can purchase a replacement I am happy.

Arrived promptly and looks as described. Haven’t used it yet but happy with purchase.

handy little piece to keep my firepit going for years to come

Have used the fire pit 6 or 7 times now burning dry jarrah in what can only be called a small fire. Its is a great portable fire pit but I remain unconvinced that the mesh floor will last 100 fires. it looks very burned and I am expecting to unroll it soon to find the mesh has broken. Time will tell.
