I am happy with the quality of this part and have  No Regrets  (the Midge Ure version, if you like) with my selection.The cable length was correct, and it was easy to fit, by simply following the cable route of the old sensor before removing it. I clipped in the new cable, working back from the junction box, once I'd removed the old cable. You'll find the little junction box that shields the ABS and pad wear sensor connections a little fiddly if working by feel; it's behind the sill, below the trailing edge of the rear right-hand door (offside for those of you in UK, 'driver's side' for those in other RHD markets, or 'passenger side' for those of you with the steering wheel on the *wrong* or left side of the vehicle). A note on safety: please, please make sure your vehicle is safely supported with an appropriate support such as an axle stand, before working beneath it. If you end up with a car on your head, we'll be renaming you 'Jack'. You'll probably have a headache as well. Best you avoid this by working safely.While considering other complimentary parts as you source this sensor - such as brake rotors - you might want to check out the  ATE Disc Brake Caliper Guide Pin Boot Kit  and some high-temp silicon brake grease for the pins. As with anything in life, if you're unsure of what you're doing when servicing your brake system, just leave it to a professional. Though you might not remain on your attorney's christmas card list, at least you'll still be stopping when applying the brakes. Stay safe.Post-replacement, it is likely that your brake pad warning light will remain lit, rendering your dashboard akin to a Christmas tree in Las Vegas. To reset the warning light, simply turn the ignition key to position two, while keeping the driver's door open for about 20 seconds. The computer will reset itself on finding the circuit complete, and the light will be extinguished. Although at this point it is unlikely you will hear the peal of bells and angels singing, you could select your favourite music as a placebo; I enjoyed  Atoms for peace: Amok  whilst basking in the glow of a job well done. In this case I was well aware of the fact I needed new brake pads before the sensor detected it. In typical human laziness though I waited till the last minute to do the job and the sensor finally caught up with what I knew. Next time I'll replace the pad before the sensor tells me so I can avoid replacing the sensor. It's not hard to replace, far from it - however it is very dirty.
