Denso 234-9097 Air Fuel Sensor

Took about 10 minutes to install and works great!

Installed several months ago and seems to be working great. No more engine light and I dare say my MPG went up a little. Worked fine and seems compatible for my 2012 outback

Perfect for the 2011 Subaru 2.5L non-turbo.

Good quality. Easy install and has lasted.

Prefect fit. Came with anti-seize packet. Fixed air fuel O2 sensor codes. You should probably get the "ARES 70039-3/8-Inch Drive by 7/8-Inch (22mm) Offset Oxygen Sensor Socket - Wire Gate Accesses Sensor" to help break the old one loose.

Thought I would save some money and bought an off brand which seemed to work for a few months. Started throwing the same codes. Decided not to take another chance and went with Denso. Cost significantly more, but no more headaches. Went into a Subaru Legacy. In their wisdom, this car was designed to block cruise control and ABS when the CEL is thrown, so these "headaches" can quickly become a safety issue.

Upon opening the package the outside of box had grease in it. Once looking at the sensor you could tell it had clearly been used. This was not a new product.

I installed this on my 2012 Subaru Outback 2.5, it's an exact match to the upstream (bank 1 sensor 1) O2 sensor that the car came with. The threads come with anti-seize already applied. I also bought a Tekton offset O2 sensor socket to install it which was the ideal tool for the job. It was quite literally a 5 minute job, no need to go under the car on this model Outback.
