I don't have to rub hard or use more than I want. It soaks in well, quickly, and doesn't leave a sticky feeling. The encapsulated (closed off from outside air) product maintains freshness and hygiene. It lasts about 3months. Recently I ran out of this and tried a different, "popular" product but that was the opposite of this one: too thick, too much rubbing, an open container I had to stick my fingers in. I used more of the cream to get coverage. It wasn't right for me. That container lasted about 45 days. Being able to compare led me back to Alastin.
