I cut one open, and was impressed. All conductors are individually shielded with aluminum foil, and embedded in polymer insulation material, which isolates, supports, and protects the thin strands of conductor wire and the shield they're wrapped in, and then they're securely attached to the RJ45 connector. Then the entire cable is wrapped in woven nylon, which provides excellent protection from the environment and helps with handling the cable during install. This a quality cable for a very good price.The only negative is that due to materials and the way this cable is made at the factory, it's very difficult to splice, or to replace the RJ45 connectors. Pretty much have to use it as-is, and not try to cut it to the exact length of you run. If it's a little long just loop the excess, and if you damage a connector, then you'll need to be very careful replacing it, or just run a new cable. Considering the very low price of this cable, it's actually more cost effective to replace it, because replacing a connector also impacts the physical and electrical integrity of the entire cable (again, unless you are very careful), and that will impact future performance of the cable.. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best cable on the market *by T***L on Reviewed in the United States on March 20, 2019* Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Suffice it to say that I needed a stupid long Ethernet cord to make it to my PC.
