Perfect fit
It is a very solid, sturdy axle as far as the way an axle should be. Installation was on a 2001 Ford Escape XLT. Remember to change the seal if your changing out your axle and coat the seal perimeter with silicone sealant plus check the bushing to see if that needs replacing.

Decent cv axle for my 2003 ford escape but read on
Cardone always has decent aftermarket stuff this cv is no different. I removed the old cv with torn boots and chiseled out the support bushing with a cold chisel. Replaced the bushing and trans output seal and popped this cv in. Works real good i thought it sprang a leak of trans fluid after i topped off but i had knocked the trans speed sensor off kilter and thats where the fluid came from. If you have a axle leak at the trans remember to change the support bushing behind the seal the wobble of the cv is what most likely is causing a leak there. Sometimes its just easier to get it all done in one shot since you have it all apart anyhow.

This cv axel did not fit my 2008 ford escape limited. Was very disappointing got my old axel out just to find out it was the wrong size. But I'll give it a four star.

Bad out the box
Bought this brand as a replacement for driver and passenger both have bad vibration had to have the passenger side replaced with another brand and will have to have driver side replaced as well for vibration.

Unit is perfect, but I order the wrong side , had to return it, with no stress from amazon
great looking unit, spanking new , had to return cause I failed to read that it was not for my vehicle, sadly, but Amazon made it so easy to correct my error, its a pleasure to buy thru Amazon.

Cardone? More like Car-done! Great OEM part
Bought this for my 2007 Ford Escape. I love that this is a NEW part, not remanufactured. There was no core to have to worry about packing and shipping back. Cardone is one of the best parts companies on the market with decades of history. Came with a new axle nut as expected. Look no further than Cardone for your driveline needs.

it arived a day early fit great works as it should a hell of alot easier then trying to change just the boot that was gone for not much more money
