While it will fit Sub2000 it will not be very comfortable and might not work. The ejection port is sitting right above the pistol grip and that is where the bag will have to sit. So each ejected shell will be ultimately landing on your hand, and the brass will be hot. And the presence of your had under the bag might cause the shells to bounce back up and jam the bolt, or be prevented from ejection altogether. Even though I have both I have not tried them together yet due to ranges being closed, so whatever you read above are my logical deductions. **Q: Will this work on a SKS?** A: Doubt it, It didn't work on my Ruger Mini30. **Q: Will it work on a lever action rifle like a Henry?** A: Most likely, it should clear the lever action **Q: will it work with a left handed shooter?** A: I am a left handed shooter and it works well, even on my semi autos with a right side operating handle. This catcher simply swings out. I don’t think it would work with a left side ejection, but have no lefty firearms to test it. A great fearure is during cease fire, because you simply swing it out insert your chamber flag. It works great for both.Like most Caldwell products this one is well made and the design is well thought out. Installation took only a few moments on my Ruger 1022. The mounting straps hold the brass catcher firmly on the rifle and I have not had any problems with it moving out of position and interfering with the bolt.Ejected cases are collected nicely in the mesh bag and the zipper on the bottom makes it easy to empty the bag at the end of the shooting session.Access to the bolt to charge the rifle or clear a jam is no problem. The bag hinges forward easily giving full access to the bolt area without removing the bag. The metal wire frame provides good rigidity and has not interfered with the action of the bolt on the 1022. The catcher returns to the same position when you swing it back into the shooting position.There is no interference with the magazine so inserting and removing the magazine is unchanged.One area where there is a bit of adjustment in one's technique is the safety. The bottom of the catcher is close to the trigger guard (just above) and is slightly noticeable when you go to push the safety off. This is a pretty minor issue but may bother a few users so I wanted to mention it.I'm very satisfied with the Caldwell Brass Catcher on my Ruger 1022.
