Great product
Brought a can and used it this weekend. Put two coats on the top and gently worked it it with a soft brush. Revived the top and it looks new! Now we will see how it hold up. By the way, I have a 10 year old 640 BMW and it appears I will be able to treat the top at least one more time.

Excellent Product
Update: The convertible top went through some heavy snow and storm weather the past seven months and still beads up well. Getting ready to retreat the top now that spring has arrived. :) This is an excellent product. I have a 2007 Toyota Solara convertible. Last year I had my convertible detailed and 3M products were used on the cloth convertible top. The water would bead with a light rain, but in a storm the water would soak into the convertible top. This year I cleaned the top well with the RaggTopp cleaner, let it dry, and then applied 4 light coatings of RaggTopp over several hours (two cans), allowing each coat to dry. The results are amazing. The water beads with heavy rains. I did follow instructions and suggestions from other reviewers. The can provides a fine mist so I applied the coats with the car in the garage. I did tape off windows when spraying and immediately wiped off any excess. It was an easy process and the results were as advertised.

Quality Made in the USA product!
Quality product proudly made in the USA. Even though you buy thru Amazon and carefully packaged item come from the manufacturer. Even down to a nicely wrapped can, instructions and brochure. The pride in this product shows. I’ve used them on a Saab convertible and now my soft top bronco. Excellent product, easy to apply and protects your investment. 5-stars and I’d give it more if I could.

works well however be very careful to just use LIGHT coats or it leaves marks on black tops.

RaggTopp is the BEST
First off I have my first new convertible... an Audi TT. I read about RaggTopp in various blogs and decide to try it. I read about the competition what is it..409, 606, well whatever! To start I put on a coat, let it dry then recoated it. A week later I put on another coat, and I what I did was take a soft horsehair brush like a shoeshine brush, as I sprayed a 2x2 ft section I took the brush and gently brushed into the canvas top. I did this over the entire top. Once a week for the next 3 weeks I did the same. The top looks BEAUTIFUL and I can tell it's completely protected, because it has a great, beautiful, black "sheen" to it, and sheds water like Goretx jacket.The canvas top looks as beautuful as the paint looks shiny. It's a deep black with that great sheen to it. I'm sold! When I wash the car I don't aways wash the top if it's not dirty, but the water beads off like just waxed paint. The other thing I like about it is the fact you don't have to mask and cover with plastic the whole rest of the car to keep overspray off. Todays car care is about convenience too. With RaggTopp I can do a quick spray over once a month with ease! Another inportant consideration is the fact it's recommended by the one company that make a majority of the material for most convertibles worldwide. I'll put this stuff and my top up against ANYTHING else, anytime! I'm speaking as a user on a new top, as with anything with age, all things deteriorate. I'm not sure once it starts going bad nothing is going to make it new again. I am convince that on a new top RaggTopp will"Preserve" a new top, but like anything will not necessarily rejuvinate a half wore out canvas convirtible top. Buy it, apply it like I did and you'll see exactly what I'm talking about! The only 303 in my life is my area code...

Not the best choice
I wanted something that would give my top not only water resistance, but a slight luster so as not to look so "old jeans" appearance. I found the spray concept to be awkward on the horizontal surface and it didn't change the appearance one little bit. I gave it a "3" because it probably does improve the water resistance. I just finished with the Protex brand dye and water-proofer. These are both brush-on and made an absolutely beautiful top- just what I wanted and not much more expensive than Raggtopp.
