I find that the gel material is a cheap alternative for those who want to keep their phone somewhat protected yet sleek so it easily can be removed from one's pocket whilst not adding too much lunkiness to it at the same time.4 instead of 5 because the case has little bump for the power button rather than a grooved hole. It also has little bumps for the Volume Up and Down button. It DOES have a grooved opening for the Silent Ringer Switch.I cut out the outline for the Power Button with a fresh Razor Blade as I find it to be silly to have the material of this case covering it since pressing it down with the material covering it did make that 'click'ing sound I am used to. It took a minute to do and makes it seem more functional to me.I know this case will begin to yellow over time because my old one did, but that is not a big deal because it isn't that noticeable and this case was $6 and delivered to my front door ;)-Update: Bought a new one November of 2015. If you want to protect the screen you'll have to buy an additional screen protector. For the price and what I was looking for though, this is a great case!- Slim - doesn't add significant bulk to the phone- Clear - lets the color of your iPhone 5c shine through- Nice pattern - It looks sort of "quilted" but the surface is smooth- Easy to get on and off! I had tried some others and they were just too hard to get off the phone... I was afraid I'd break it! I like the fact that the color of the phone shows through. I like the pattern of the cover and I like that it protects my phone but is not bulky. I have dropped my phone a few times and the cover has softened its fall and protected it from chipping or cracking. The cover discolored (yellowed) over time. It was not expensive so I thought I would just order a new one. Then I noticed there is a 12 month warranty on the phone cover so I contacted Etui Le Bon and they said that discoloration was indeed covered by the warranty. Not only did they send me a replacement of this product for free, they added a cute polka dot iPhone cover to the shipment, so now I have two phone covers. Thank you, Etui Le Bon!
