This kit came without the instructions it said it had in the box, but videos are available online that will tell you how to use it. The tips for the hayes sole brakes are in the kit but you need to just push it in the hole. The tip appears to be threaded, but it is not. The threaded looking end goes into the bleed tube with the kit.  I used only the things that came with the kit and was able to bleed my brakes fairly easily. The front is way easier than the back due to the reaches involved, but it can be done. Just a note as to level of mechanical knowledge, I have no bike experience, but quite a bit of car mechanic experience. If you have never done a bleed job on anything it might take a few tries and several views of the video to get it right. If you have some wrenching in your past, these brakes bleed like a cars only backwards and your not pumping air out, but forcing fluid in.

Unfortunately my brakes were on a bike that sat in a shed in Upstate NY for 5 years so the calipers were shot. This kit has all the fittings you need to bleed Hayes Hydraulic brakes.I ended up having to replace them. I replaced my Hydraulics with Avid BB7 Mechanical disc brakes and they work great and I don't have to worry about the drudgery of bleeding them.

I don't know why they don't provide longer bleed tubes, they are a couple inches long and barely work. The attachments are necessary. If you get longer tubes you'll be set.
