Civil War Era Solid Copper Bugle US Military Cavalry Horn

Great item. Took it to scout camp and the camp bugler played a perfect rendition of Taps on it. No question that it is playable. Mouth piece removes and can be washed out. Really impressed with the quality of this Bugle!

This is a very authentic instrument and came in only two days. It plays fine and is very comfortable to use. My only problem is that it has no spit valves and the mouthpiece cannot be removed and has what is either copper oxide or black rust powder in the bell, but it can be wiped off with a tissue. I bought this one and the 6 inch Chinese one and when lined up next to each other they are great home decor, but i use them to play.

Very Happy with this purchase. Good value for the price. Not exactly top of the line but a good value. Sounds good and fun to play.

This was listed as a new bugle, but came with dents, dings and a cracked mouthpiece. Overall construction is poor, item looks used and not new at all. Was bought as a Christmas gift for my son for Bugler duties with his Scout troop. With restocking fees and having to pay return shipping, we might as well keep it for him to practice on, but very disappointed. Son and I are both trumpet players and the mouthpiece is very flat, making it difficult to play. Save your money, but a better bugle. Also came attached with a sticker indicating it was made in India. :/

We are running a commercial spot for our firm that begins with a bugling of Reveille. We imagined the perfect thank you to our engineer, Johnny Toot, would of course be a Scout endorsed brass bugle. The reaction has been great. Johnny is practicing his Reveille for future live performance.

Shipping was fast and painless but the horn is missing it's attached US Military/Boyscout brass emblem and red cord/tassle as shown on original picture. You owe me...:)

Purchased this for our scout troop - Not a bad quality for the price, but did take several other reviewer's recommendation and purchased a different mouthpiece. Unable to play hardly anything with the included mouthpiece. My 13 year old son quickly was able to play Reveille pretty well with a little practice.
