Nice little vacuum but no British plug or adapter? For that it gets a 3* review and not a 4*. Supplier must do better. Clearly know I live in the UK from the delivery address.

This runs on 110V USA power supply. Not appropriate for UK power supply

Works well but came with American 2pin 110v charger plug. Have used uk spec 220v charger from previous UK black and decker 18v and seems to charge OK

Its for the US domestic market as not suitable for UK power supply. Lucky my old charger from my previous one still works

I recently purchased the BLACK+DECKER dustbuster Handheld Vacuum and it has quickly become my go-to cleaning tool. This vacuum works very well with great suction compared to other models and brands I've tried. It's the most powerful cordless model B&D sells. The dust bowl and filters are easy to remove and clean and the filter indicator lights warn you if it needs cleaning in case you don't notice. The wall mount was easy to install and holds the vacuum securely in place while the charging indicator lights make it easy to confirm that you have it properly seated in the cradle. When it's in the charging cradle it is 16" high and 5" in wide so make sure you have that much room on your wall within 6' of a plug. I read some reviews before purchasing about people complaining of the intense smell of the pre-filter and although it may be a good feature for someone who has pets, for people with sensitive noses or my own concern about this feature was that I wanted to hang this in our laundry room and not have it permeate the room while hanging for days at a time between uses. I made a quick call to Black and Decker before buying and being the first class company they are, a service representative listened to my concern about the smell and they shipped me a new non-smelling pre-filter free of charge. Great American customer care is still alive and well! I never opened the package with the original pre-filter to find out if it really smelled as intense as others said so I can't help you on that information. I would not hesitate to recommend this model and rate it a must buy for a cordless vacuum.

This is one of those rare products that make you ask yourself how you lived without it. I should have bought this long ago. I bought it with 6 extra filters so I don't need to worry later. The suction power on this hand vac is the best I've ever seen. My once-a-week housekeeper said the same thing. A friend asked to borrow it down the hall to clean some kitty litter. I use it several times a day for one thing or another. It works as well on hardwood floors as carpets. There is an attached flip brush that pulls down to gather hair, etc. I have many plants in my apartment and even with plastic mats for transplanting this B & D hand vac is great for picking up dry dirt, small pieces of gravel, small plant debris, etc. I already have vacuumed my car. I have emptied it a couple of times and it opens very easily. I haven't had to change filters yet but that is super easy as well. It is so easy to rinse out the plastic debris container and the filter as well. The charger plugs into the wall with an electric cord and the vac sets on its base to charge quickly. I highly recommend this Black and Decker hand vac and would give it 10 stars if I could. It changed my life.

LOVE how handy this is. Most expensive appliance I've bought for my condo, but well worth it. Wish it could hold more - but I can vacuum my entire 750sqft condo in under 15 mins with this! Battery life not an issue. The power boost option is helpful with tricky items to suck up, or in hard to reach places. Works great in car, too. Next step is to find a place to mount on a wall (with supplied charger/mount), while being connected to outlet.
